Best food I've had for ages and we eat out a lot. The home made, cooked to order pie was delicious. The venison was perfect along with the veg and dauphin pots. I've really struggled to find mushrooms that have any flavour, the way they used to taste when I was a kid. This dish had them! I really relished this!! Took me back to happy days and my Mums amazing cooking. (I am quite old btw). I'd recommend The Red House to everyone, young and old. Also, very reasonably priced considering the high quality of food. We'll be going back soon.
Celebration meal for two on a Friday evening was excellent. Lovely restaurant, tasteful furnishings and pleasant atmosphere. Good food, good friendly service. Was busy but not overly so. Meal only - did not stay there.
We went there for lunch with my husband To meet his aunt and niece there. The place is beautiful!! The staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly🌟

We'd highly recommend the Red House!! We booked for a big family meal for our 40th wedding anniversary and found everything about it excellent. The help from the manager when planning the event was personal and attentive - he seemed very keen to get things right for us and especially for a guest with special dietary requirements. The food was delicious - everyone enjoyed their meals. Everything was set-out beautifully for us and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to bring a cake and flowers, had a quiet room to ourselves, and we weren't rushed. The atmosphere was lovely and helped to make it a special occasion for us. Thank you!!
We were taken here for Sunday lunch as a thank you for helping our neighbour. It's a beautiful place, inside and out, The staff are very welcoming, polite, and helpful.
The lunch itself was fantastic, followed by assorted fruit & meringue.
10/10 will definitely be going there again.
The best roast dinner in Cambridgeshire! My partner and I regularly visit The Red House. The venue is surrounded by beautiful countryside with a huge garden and outside bar to enjoy the weather & views. This has become our favourite roast dinner spot and we are yet to find anywhere to beat it. The homemade scotch egg starter is a firm favourite too!
The staff are always welcoming with great service. Booking advised as it is usually very busy when we visit.

The Red House was the perfect venue for our wedding day.
The setting was simply perfect and exactly what we were after for our rustic wedding. Carl was such a perfectionist with the finer details and the food was amazing.
The day was seamless thanks to all hardworking staff who were polite and friendly to all our guests. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for our big day which enabled us to have our faux ceremony by the pond (we had legally married the week before). The amount of space was perfect for all our guests to enjoy and having the garden bar was a big hit too.
The kitchen delivered the yummiest canapés, wedding breakfast and evening hog roast.
It was really important for us to have local produce and the food sourced for the pub ticked those boxes.
The entire venue was beautifully presented, very clean bathrooms, well laid out and two vastly stocked bars.
Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was on hand to help keep the day running smoothly.
We highly recommend using The Red House as a venue for any event.
Had a very enjoyable meal there for Sunday lunch today. Staff were willing to help ensure my daughter had something that met her needs and my GF mum was also well nourished! Will definitely be back!
Wow what a fantastic place. Jhst stopped off for a light lunch not only did the food look fantastic but it tasted as good as it looked. So helpful staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely our most favourite place to eat.
First visit here last Friday. Will DEFINITELY return. The setting, food, service and ambience were all first rate. The chef deserves 6 stars! How haven't we found this place before?
