Popped in for lunch the other day with my wife. We love coming here, there's a friendly welcome every time, and the food is absolutely incredible. Always recommend to everyone we know. It's very popular though (for good reason) so would recommend booking/reserving a table if you're travelling from further afield or in a large group.
Would give 10 stars if able! Can't wait to go back soon. ��
Stayed here several times now, and always look forward to my next visit. Mark, Sally, their family and staff are lovely and welcoming; the rooms are gorgeous; and the food and beer excellent. Perfect place to stay.
Just spent a great week at the King and Queen. Clean fresh rooms, great food and a wide selection of ales, all in a traditional pub with a modern feel - superb!

Wow. I can't rate The King & Queen more highly. Easily the friendliest place I've ever stayed at, from the initial welcome to the (likely not final) goodbye. We stayed for two nights, with our dog, and it was just a brilliant experience. The room was comfortable and super clean. The pub downstairs was welcoming, had a great selection of drinks and a great pub menu. The food was above and beyond - the house burger was everything I want a burger to be.
The breakfast was just great, you can tell the care and love that goes into it - quality ingredients cooked well. Can't get much better than that.
We felt really looked after and welcomed into the pub. I wouldn't hesitate in visiting again, especially given the convenient location overlooking the White Horse and near to a load of nearby cities and attractions.
Very welcoming staff. Lovely and friendly.Breakfasts really good and a really tasty evening meal. We felt well cared for and we weren't disturbed by any pub noise at all. Would really recommend this place. It's lovely Countryside and quiet.
Really nice independent pub with accommodation. Our room was comfortable and clean and we could just make out the White Horse of Uffington from the Window.

The luxury of this place is in the staff. No swanky walk in showers but wonderful reception from all the staff. The food is typical pies, sausages, etc BUT, untypical, they are proper pies and sausages from the local butcher. The full English will set you up for the day. 1/2 hr from Oxford/Cotswolds - highly recommended.
Stopped here for a one night getaway. Good country pub, serving a range of ales with top notch food and pleasant and inviting rooms. What's more to ask for, would recommend for anyone wanting to get away to the quiet life for a break.
Marcus and his team were wonderful and very helpful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and hope to come back very soon.

We have had a wonderful 2 night stay here while attending RIAT, the rooms are inviting and clean, beds comfortable with a large shower. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were absolutely delicious, very good portion sizes and excellent value for money.
The bar serves a nice selection of drinks and the staff are extremely friendly and very attentive.
Highly recommended is an understatement.
Very nice place, kind and lovely staff, very nice room. If you want to be delt with like family, this is the place to be. Even the Locals deal with you like you are one of their own. Visited the white horse as well. If i could i gave 6 stars.
