Wow. I can't rate The King & Queen more highly. Easily the friendliest place I've ever stayed at, from the initial welcome to the (likely not final) goodbye. Very welcoming staff. Lovely and friendly.Breakfasts really good and a really tasty evening meal. We felt well cared for and we weren't disturbed by any pub noise at all. Would really recommend this place. It's lovely Countryside and quiet.
Really nice independent pub with accommodation. Our room was comfortable and clean and we could just make out the White Horse of Uffington from the Window.

The luxury of this place is in the staff. No swanky walk in showers but wonderful reception from all the staff. The food is typical pies, sausages, etc BUT, untypical, they are proper pies and sausages from the local butcher. The full English will set you up for the day. 1/2 hr from Oxford/Cotswolds
Stopped here for a one night getaway. Good country pub, serving a range of ales with top notch food and pleasant and inviting rooms. What's more to ask for, would recommend for anyone wanting to get away to the quiet life for a break.
Marcus and his team were wonderful and very helpful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and hope to come back very soon.

We have had a wonderful 2 night stay here while attending RIAT, the rooms are inviting and clean, beds comfortable with a large shower. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were absolutely delicious, very good portion sizes and excellent value for money.

Very nice place, kind and lovely staff, very nice room. If you want to be delt with like family, this is the place to be. Even the Locals deal with you like you are one of their own. Visited the white horse as well. If i could i gave 6 stars.
