Just had a fantastic meal. Service was 1st class as always. You guys work so hard & never disappoint. Any request is never too much hassle for you all. We even had an amazing dish that we requested that wasn't on the menu. 5☆ food in an amazing restaurant that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep. Thankyou again to everyone at Melford Valley.

Fantastic Christmas Day meal. Table booked for 4pm, last sitting of the day. Food was fresh and delicious, staff were so helpful and friendly. Large selection of both traditional Christmas dinner and Indian food served buffet style. So reasonably priced. Good time had by our whole group. Would highly recommend. Thanks Melford Valley for helping make our Christmas special.

First ever non at home Christmas day meal. Robbie and his very merry and attentive staff were wonderful, the food both Indian and English traditional were well cooked, very well presented and exceptionally tasty. In all a great atmosphere and experience, I would definitely recommend and do again 5 .

Fantastic Dhansaks (my favourite) yesterday at The Melford Valley !! Tried a Naga Chilli dhansak for the first time too .... wow !! AWSOME! Packs a punch like a Rhino kicking you up the backside . Beautiful flavours not compromised by the heat ... perfect balance. I forgot to order an onion raita though .. the perfect accompaniment in my view !! Oh well, looks like the best excuse to have to go back very soon and do it all again.

Sunday evening & a family gathering at the Melford Valley. There were eight of us and we were seated quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The food was as usual delicious you cant fault the food here. We did wait a little for drinks but as it was very busy thats understandable. Well done Robby & Ronny your a good team & thankyou for a lovely evening.

The best curry house for miles, the loyal returning customers and the fact it's always busy speaks for itself!

Amazing dinner last night at Melford Valley Tandoori. Have driven past a million times and wanted to try it so we did. Food was great, menu was different but had the usual suspects. There were so many things we wanted to try. Dinner came out amazing and the dry ice table was spot on. Totally different but have an amazing experience. I couldn’t get my camera out quick enough but next time I will. Well done to the staff for making it a different but usual experience if that makes sense. Staff were engaging and full of information. Sunday buffet sounds like a winner to me as does the tapas style dining. We will return sooner than expected.

Went on a Sunday for the all you can eat Indian buffet. This buffet was £11.99, which in this day and age is so cheap. While the buffet was extremely cheap, the food was extensive and delicious. The range of starters, nana, rice and curries available was shocking for me for such little money. The samosas were delicious, the chicken or the lamb samosas were nice and spicy. The keema naan was delicious, spicy, and fragrant. My only thing letting this place down was the food wasn't very warm. We had to wait a while for our plates to arrive at the tables. I wish they'd just give us some jugs of tap water instead of small glasses of if. If Lzo did take some time to get the attention of the servers for clean plates & more tap water. You do get 2 hours for the buffet, which is a really good time allowance. You get a few slots for the buffet, which need to be pre-booked. The slots are 12, 2 & 4pm. I would highly recommend this Indian buffet for anyone who wants to try new curries.

The best tandoori restaurant for miles around. Interesting selection of dishes that are a bit different from other restaurants. Lots of dishes do not have any chilli, which is perfect for me.

Polite servers who dealt with a table of 10 well. Great food - i ordered archari (chutney) chicken which was nice but had one chilli on the menu and it was just very sweet rather than having any spice to it which was a bit disappointing , still a nice dish just perhaps misdescribed. The buttered nan and rice were very nice. Food all came out at the same time which was good for the flow of conversation. Atmosphere was nice, clean table and toilets.

I recently took advantage of the Melford Tandoori buffet lunch and honestly was not disappointed. Sometimes going to a buffet lunch can result in average at best and limited food options, but not at the Melford Valley Tandoori. I found the a good and well cooked selection of rice and curry's options, with non meat version of the available. Along with this there were a good selection of sides, with some taking into account the very young who may not have discovered their adventures eating trends just yet. So if you fancy a nice curry dish, but aren't sure what to pick book yourself into the Melford Valley Tandoori and for £11.95 per adult you can have a bit of everything.

We had a takeaway from MVT on New Years Eve (as we do every year) and we were not disappointed. As a veggie, this is the only place I will go as the vegetables in the dishes are always fresh, varied and delicious. No soggy green beans here ! The staff are so welcoming. It's the best Indian I have ever been to.

Such a great place to visit - we love the Sunday buffet and have been several times. Also great takeaways too. Best Indian restaurant in the Sudbury area.

Really tasty food, just the service was a little questionable at times... I found that everyone on my table found the addition of the radish decoration in the curries a little random?
