If I could I would give this little coffee shop 10 stars. Stopped here for a light lunch and the selection of cakes were amazing , so much choice , all baked by one lady. The portions were very generous enough to share which we did with salmon and cream cheese sandwiches to share also. Very friendly staff. All set in a lovely village setting well worth spending a few hours here.
We were very pleased with this place. Stopped on our way back home. Fresh and very tasty cakes! Great coffee and very friendly staff. We took some food with us to treat our friends too so they know where to get good coffee and fresh cakes from. Thank You and we will be coming back! 😊
What a wonderful little tea room. Afternoon tea was amazing. Wonderful sandwich fillings and lots of cake choices. Would definitely recommend 👌

Spot on! Friendly welcome. Very enticing cabinet of lush snacks and the Cakes looked yummy! Settled for a cheese and mushroom toastie a Coffee and Hot Chocolate .
Loads of areas to sit plus upstairs space and garden.
Great cafe, excellent selection of rolls / toasties and cakes. Coffee was very good as well. Very friendly staff. Lovely sun trap on the tables outside.
Our regular saturday spot. The most delicious sourdough toasties, incredible choice of cakes and smooth coffee. Clean, cosy, a home from home atmosphere. Faye and team always so welcoming and friendly.
Loved this Coffee House. When you walk in you can see many different cakes nicely displayed and the seating area is really nicely laid out. Gluten free options too, recommend the mint brownie. Relaxing music was playing and a cosy homely place. Really lovely cakes and drinks. Great service too. A gem in Long Melford thank you
Very enjoyable cup of coffee. We also recommend the Almond Croissants. The best we have ever tasted. Could not resist the Brioche lemon curd Doughnuts so took 2 home for lunch. Not disappointed, very light and delicious. These are available on Wednesdays and I think Saturdays.
Lovely cafe / tea rooms, couldn't recommend more as a great spot for lunch! Hot chocolate was amazing, with chocolate cream on top. And food and cakes were also very tasty, with good variety of options and plenty for vegetarians. This is clearly a place run with love and pride and it really shows.
An unexpected find on a rainy day! Lovely atmosphere, tasty savoury food, but the winner was the hot chocolate! I had the dark with all the trimmings, the chocolate cream reminded me of Hotel Chocolat, lovely big marshmallow and rich and chocolatey - just what we needed after a soggy morning out riding
Lovely place with great food, had a really nice bacon and brie toasted sandwich followed by a generous slice of espresso, fig and hazelnut cake! Recommended.

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere! So many choices of cakes too. We all had something different to eat and drink and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! The staff were very friendly and I loved that there were different rooms to sit in inside, so it wasn't too busy or noisy. Everywhere was very clean too. We were also very grateful that they accepted a gift voucher that had passed the expiry date, as we'd been unable to use the vouchers last year when my husband had been shielding due to operations.
I had business in Sudbury and was recommended Long Melford for lunch.
Ive availed of the mint tea (quality is amazing), the New Yorker grilled panini (as an American it gets my seal of approval), and I’m just about to have a piece of one of the many cakes available (this one is ‘Caramel latte’) with a Caramel latte!
Soft jazz, lovely rooms, so personal. Just perfect. Been sitting working for a few hours now. I’ll be back!

Cake selection ok, all other aspects have reduced in quality and efficiency of service.

Delicious take away cream tea, we chose cherry bakewell scones but they all looked amazing. Staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to try some of the other scones and cakes.
