Fabulous pub with fabulous staff and fabulous food. Met by a lovely, friendly member of bar staff. Had the homemade beef burger with fries and slaw. Delicious burger and definitely homemade. Didn’t wait long for it to be served, and it was piping hot. I can definitely recommend stopping off here if in the area.

Food was amazing we ordered camberet cheese and crusty seeded bread ( does not state seeded bread on menu, for those with allergies or dislikes) as a starter. Classic home made burger and the black treacle ham mains they were perfect. 5 star 🌟 for food. Customer service was lacking to begin with, one waitress clearly didn't want to be there but once she finished her shift the young women who took over serving the dining area was brilliant πŸ‘ we've been for drinks here many times but first time having a meal and will definitely be returning the food aswell now πŸ‘

Thursday evening and was easy to get a table. The beer was great, cocktails were nice too. Food service was good with a fairly quick turnaround after ordering for five people. Everything tasted freshly cooked and vegan options were tasty. Definitely visit again.

It was a Tuesday evening and we were the only ones eating, although it was quite early. Service from the two young girls we saw, was excellent....friendly and efficient l. The food was better than average with just a few minor things stopping it being a bit better. They deserve the chance though and I can see them getting better. If more local would visit again

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today for a birthday get together. Food was plentiful and tasty, the room was lovely and as a party of 11we appreciated having plenty of room and not being squashed in. We will definitely be back. Thanks to kitchen and waiting staff.

Well worth a trip as they are celebrating their first birthday this weekend! The food is divine and there's real ale too! Plenty of outside seating is available, weather permitting. It's dog friendly as well. There's plenty of space for cars and it's wheelchair accessible.

Attended over the weekend for a Sunday roast, which was excellent. I had the roast beef and my partner had the turkey, which also came with a pig in blanket and stuffing ball. Then for desert we both had a cheesecake which was served with a biscoff sauce. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Shall be retuning again when in the local area for a meal.

It was our first visit to The Duck, and we loved it. The service was great, the roast lunches were excellent and the welcome was very warm. Indiee had a lovely time too...she enjoyed the roast pork also. We will be back πŸ‘πŸΎπŸΎπŸ˜Ž

Been coming here on and off for a little while now and from day one we've always been greeted with a smile, the staff are lovely and there's a nice selection of beer on tap, bottles and spirits, we havent yet come out for food but definitely will be some time.

Thank you to all the team at the Duck on the Pond for providing my daughter and son in law with a fantastic wedding reception. We had exclusive use of the premises, the staff were great, food delicious, lovely venue. A great time had by all.

What a great pub, and by far the best out of all 7 we have tried in this village! Excellent food, good beer and really welcoming staff. Everything a good pub should be. Highly recommended

What a gem!!! We stumbled across this place during the snow storm. The staff were great especially the lady behind the bar. Would highly recommend the duck. The decor was modern and everything was very clean. A huge plus was that it's very dog friendly (we are dog owners but didn't have ours with us) but the dogs in there made it even more homely than it already was. Thank you for a lovely meal and drinks.

Lovely Pub, we were visiting the area for the day and stopped off for some food before heading home. Great food, great choice of drinks, not too expensive and the staff are lovely and friendly whilst remaining professional.
