We love this traditional pub. We went again on Sunday before we took our dog for a walk along the canal towpath, we eat before we walk as the portions are so good you need to walk it off 🙂. I had the chicken Sunday dinner 😋 and my husband and daughter had other food from the menu, and there is plent
We recently visited The 2 Boats with our family from a canal boat holiday. We visited in 2010 when our kids were much smaller and were so impressed we wanted to come back again in Oct 2023. What a lovely place! The food was excellent, Emma the bar lady was so friendly and helpful and the pub has kep
Lovely food, I had prawn cocktail and chips as a meal. Good portions. Also chicken in a basket is value for money x
Lovely location. It is so peaceful, on the canal. Generous portion sizes. Friendly service. Pet friendly.
We stayed at a campsite along the canal from the Two Boats but the pub there didn't allow dogs so we went to the Two Boats instead and glad we did. We enjoyed a top notch gammon steak and chips (two eggs) alongside chicken strips with a very hearty salad. The bar was well stocked for all tastes and
Outstanding fish and chips, which so many places do indifferently it's really nice to see someone really putting some thought into it! Other dishes also prepared with care. Lovely location by the canal helps, as do a few nice localish cask ales.
Excellent quaint canalside pub, very impressed with meals we had & staff went above & beyond to ensure our food was ok & we were made to feel very welcome & even the dog wS treated to biscuits & was very fussed..definitely recommend
Just had the deliciousness which was the Steak and Stilton pie with lovely chips for lunch! Absolutely fabulous! I may go back for my tea! Friendly staff, nice canal side location. Recommended!
The family and I had a great night reliving past memories in this original style canal side pub. The food was great, the staff fun and helpful.
Had a lunch baguette at The Two Boats Inn. What a beautiful pub in a lovely location on the canal. Very welcoming staff. Food was excellent. Great place to relax and enjoy the boats and people passing. Thumbs up!!!

Fantastic pub by the canal. Will definitely come back. Staff were amazing and the food was fabulous!
Lovely pub by the canal side. Staff are friendly and accommodating, however food took an hour to get to us.
Nice place, especially to sit outside overlooking the canal. Good choice of food. Unfortunately our halloumi was stone cold bit staff immediately apologised and replaced it. Otherwise very good.
Steak and ale pie with Stilton was perfection , mash was great and extra gravy!! Have visited many times before and only ever order the pie it has not let me down yet!! Thankyou
