As my wife and I love a good afternoon tea, we thought that we would pop into Carriages, and what a lovely experience it was! The staff are welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, the ambience is great and the food and tea was outstanding. There is a huge amount of variety and food in the afternoon
Lovely visit today, I took my boys for afternoon tea. The food was great, the scones are delicious and the chocolate cake was amazing!! Super friendly staff and a beautiful place. Definitely go and try it out!!!

Friendly staff, welcoming, beautiful bread used in the sandwiches, very fresh. Also beautiful home made cakes. Very dog friendly, waitress kindly brought my dog a bowl of water and offered treats. Will definitely return many times
Fabulous, first visit today. Lovely food and fantastic cakes. Vintage touches throughout adding to the experience, music and service. Sweet shop awesome. Very friendly owner, will definitely be returning!
Really nice family run business with a generous and homely approach to food service and portion size. If there's a single negative, it's that some of the popular items can sell out before lunchtime, but that just shows how much custom this quaint little spot is generating.

Lovely surroundings and staff.We had Afternoon tea it was fresh,, homemade,lots of choice very nice and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of toys for little ones to play with.
Was lucky enough to win afternoon tea for 2 it was fantastic fandabidosi brilliant great food staff and atmosphere. Loved it came away happy and full had great laugh with the staff too thank you all . Worth going 100%
