We are lucky enough in Long Eaton to have at least two excellent fish and chip shops. This is one. The staff are efficient and friendly. The food is great. The prices are right. It's on a bus route, and you can also park on the road outside.

Excellent customer service, great food I always see the queues outside the door. Live very local however never tried it until last week and I couldn’t wait to try it again! Definitely will be ordering again!

I understand that this chippy has changed hands and unfortunately the quality of the food has plummeted. We stuck by the chippy for weeks hoping that the food would improve but, unfortunately
Really nice, great flavour. Would have got 5 starts but found some fish bones and accidentally swallowed some little one. Would have posted pictures but wasn’t giving me the option to.
The best quality fish and chips in town with good portions at reasonable prices.

It has changed hands now, so I am not sure if the new owners have kept up with standards of the previous owner?
The last time I wrote a review for this place I was greatly disappointed in how much I felt they had gone downhill... However, since visiting here again a few times recently they've really upped their game and they are back to the service and quality they were when we first started using them.

Lovely crispy batter on beautiful cod.
Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. I had a small portion which was far from small. Chips, crispy and hot. Fish was outstanding, fresh, cooked to perfection, with light tasty batter. Best I've had in a long time.
Long Eaton has a few really good Fish and Chips shops and this is one of the best. Staff are friendly and work fast, the fish and chips are consistently fresh and tasty and generous portions. Queues when busy but service is fast so it doesn’t matter.
