I visited here with my daughter recently for a coffee & bite to eat. It was nice to see a good range of varies drinks, & I decided to go for a popcorn latte, which looked & tasted great. For food I had the quiche of the day, with salad, & a side of fries. All portions were decent sizes, I even took some away with me. The decor itself was unique, & different compared to other places.

I wish I had taken some photos of this place, because it's without a doubt fabulous! My mum and I often frequent here for a coffee and a slice of cake, whenever we visit Long Eaton. I think we came across Copper Cogs a while back, after trying to look for somewhere that was gluten free. This place came up, so we gave it a shot and loved it! The atmosphere is great and the quirky, vintage vibe is awesome (the lights really help to give it that cosy atmosphere). The service is always fab and the staff are ever so friendly. Their Bad Apple cider is superbly refreshing and their hot chocolate is exquisite. They always have a gluten free cake available, which changes often (the variety is great!) And then they also have other cakes available too, which always look super yummy. Although we've not really tried much of the food, the soups have always been wonderful with some bread on the side to accompany. Their burger selection is great, with the Van Helsing being my number one favourite! Without a doubt, I'd recommend Copper Cogs as a fun place to unwind, relax and have a cuppa and a cake whilst watching the world go by. We'd love to stop by for an evening meal sometime, so will certainly be doing that in the future. Many thanks to you all, keep up the brill service! :)

Great food and cocktails myself and my wife stayed at a local hotel overnight and came here for dinner. Lovely platters and food in good portions. The cocktails were great with the 2 for £10 deals. If we stop nearby again, we will definitely visit. Staff were very professional and polite.

Tasty cakes and drinks, good location, interesting decor, would like to visit again for chess and boardgame nights and try the many adult beverage mixers on offer.

Really lovely bar with friendly staff, lovely cocktails, good food and great cakes. Every time I have been, lunchtime, evening, etc) there has been a great atmosphere. The service is good; the staff are very nice, food and drink are always prompt even when they’re full, and you can have a nice chat and laugh with them. They are very child friendly, and there are changing facilities for little ones. The loos are generally clean and in good working order.

A nice café for breakfast. A bit on the pricier side but it was all made fresh with proper ingredients, well worth the money. Proper coffee tops it off. I would definitely go back again 👍

This was not my first visit to this rather uniquely decorated establishment so I thought I should write up on my recent visits. It's friendly, comfortable, serves good food and drink plus it's not overly expensive. Our visits are normally for brunch and their sausage and/or bacon sandwiches are well filled with quality meat. A good range of coffee, tea and juices are on offer.

Came to catch up with our eldest two and the waiter was brilliant, my youngest lad loved the banter, the food was lovely, great service and for 6 people mains and a drink each just shy of £100.00 (less then £20 each 😀) hope to pop back again soon.

Lots of gluten-free choice, but service was slow, I had to keep walking up to the bar to get noticed. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I had halloumi which could of done with a bit longer under the grill, sweet potato chips that were nice but had been forgotten so came later. Cocktails were lovely and on offer

Nice breakfast & Service. A little expensive but it is a more upmarket and a nice environment to eat and drink. Always busy so must be proof of what others also think.

This was perfect for the morning after. A lovely dog friendly place with a good selection of reasonable prices food. Look out for the locally card if you’re coming back again and again.
