Best fish and chips ever in Midlands. Very old fashion but the quality never let you down. Have a large cod with curry sauce and mushy peas, a plate of bread and butter, a nice cup of tea. Perfect. Went here for dinner on a Thursday night, sat down in their small but cosy restaurant area. Staff were friendly and service was quick and easy.

Beautiful fish - had a large haddock and it was lovely - done just right! For about £8 I got this, bread and butter and a coffee. Pepsi has free refills too. I love George's fish chips and peas 😋 when my son and his family come from Doncaster to see me we always have this and it's always fantastic 👌it's always freshly cooked and hot and my son says there's nothing as good anywhere in Doncaster!

A hidden gem really , been going weekly for many years. Good menu especially fish. Very inexpensive, great waitress Helen who has served us almost every visit . Exceptionally welcoming and great atmosphere .
We ordered online to pick up later in the day. I arrived a few minutes early and they got my order ready quickly and with no delay. The food was great and the staff were friendly
