The front of house staff were welcoming, the chef accommodating after the steak came out well done instead of rare which was quickly rectified.
Our first meal out since having a new born and it made for a great and relaxing experience, thanks for having us and being understanding.

Gorgeous Sunday dinner, the atmosphere was lovely, not too quiet nor too busy and the decor was beautiful, very rustic country vibes.
We had three courses and drinks and it was a really reasonable price and the service staff were lovely! We will absolutely visit again.

We stoped for dinner on our way to York. The place is very cosy with a lovely atmosphere. There is a fire place where you can relax with a glass of wine and delicious food. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely comeback for deserts!
It's been years since we came here, but thought we'd try it out after moving back to the area and we it was fabulous! The food was lovely with a good selection of vegetarian options and lovely non alcoholic gin. There was a nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendly
Nicely decorated, stopped in for Sunday lunch to break our journey home. Generous portions, but piled a bit high on the plate - didn't need the mash! Staff were helpful and friendly.

The little things bring to to the top. Cutlery and napkins come to the table in a lovely box, such a nice touch.
