The Angel Inn - Long Ashton - Photo album

Girlfriend and myself travelled here with a very last minute (24hr) booking online to run some quick morning errands in Bristol before flying on to a long break in Italy. Booking in, we had a slight issue: no fault of 'Angel Inn', just a very simple one-off oversight with the online booking company
Very nice pub, few separate rooms, wonky walls and ceilings, outback toilets make it feel more like a proper pub. Best bit was the food, 3 huge sausages & homemade mash potatoes. Other 3 meals were also plenty big enough. Bar staff were friendly. Respond to emails in a very timely manner. Thank you.
A great inn with loads of history, the original parts of the building go back to the 1400s. A friendly pub with a very helpful and hospitable landlord. A good selection of beers, and a fantastic full English breakfast. Good location with some nice walks in the countryside around Long Ashton.
I cannot recommend this place enough if you need somewhere near the Clifton side of Bristol. Needed a hotel last minute to run errands before a flight abroad and booked online for Friday night. Stayed in a lovely double room with a nearby shared bathroom. We had a very minor issue and the lady tha
Great little country pub, craft and local beers, and without doubt the best bacon sarny I've ever had! Rooms nice and clean, shared bathroom, but there's only 3 rooms, so no issue. The road can be a bit noisy, but this is not the pubs fault
Good old fashioned pub with a range of well kept real ales. Didn't eat there but the meals looked good. It also has a sheltered outdoor courtyard with plenty of tables
Stopped by today Sunday on our way back home. We had Sunday roast beef and lamb! 5 ⭐ big portions and very tasty! Friendly and smiley staff! Loved it ❤️
Nice pub, bit tired perhaps. Welcoming staff. Food was OK, it tasted nice but my lasagne had clearly been nuked in the microwave. They went out their way to make a cheese sandwich for my fussy toddler and welcomed my bouncy whippet puppy - 4 stars for those alone!
Nearly 100 of us descended for a post-funeral wake. Very convenient to the local parish church and near a bus stop to get back to town. We were well looked after. There was a good choice of beers and adequate food.
Fantastic little country pub, super friendly staff, excellent service, and great food. Even on a Monday afternoon the atmosphere was great, lots of friendly chatty locals enjoying the beer garden in the sun. Will most definitely return regularly.
