Must-try:
1. Lamb
2. Chicken croquettes
3. Rice pudding (if you like Spanish rice)
You will sit in kinda bar setting and watch the chefs make food in front of you.

We recently had a delicious lunch at Barrafina. Very chic and pleasant atmosphere, staff were friendly and welcoming. As we had a baby, we were provided a big table with a high chair and space to park the pram.
Food was very impressive, portions were plentiful. The seafood was fresh and well season
This is a very pleasant restaurant away from the main crowds of Borough Market.
Don't be put off by the small main menu, the daily specials are the stars.
Tasty, decent sized tapas-style dishes with some really good larger mains to share.

When I tell you the chicken pepitoria here is the BEST chicken I’ve ever had you’re just gonna have to believe me… and if you don’t, go try it yourself. Vibe 10/10, food 10/10. Great food. I would recommend the tortilla and the courgette flower with goatcheese.
I had really high hopes coming here, and I think it was just a bit under my expectations to get a 5/5. Never the less a nice place that I would recommend visiting if you are craving tapas.
Updated with a newer review as ended up going there again yesterday and this time with pictures! Everything was amazing as always - the gambas in olive oil and garlic was amazzzing so we’re the croquettes and the tortilla.

Situated in the newly opened Borough Yards, Barrafina is a fantastic Spanish tapas bar. We sat at the bar where you get a dedicated member of staff who delightfully went through the specials and tended to our needs. Star of the show was one of the specials, the Pluma Iberica pork which was succulent
Love the interior setting, making the atmosphere enjoyable.
However, the turn time is 1hr 30mins, too short to enjoy the food and experience in this great restaurant.

The food is always amazing at Barrafina, you can't go wrong!! I really enjoyed the Gambas Rojas and the Chipirones 😋😋 if you are vegetarian, try these two dishes-Calcots and Mushrooms & Cured Yolk.
This one was even a better experience than the one on dean. So I would go to this one. Maybe because of the time (4pm just start of shift)
They cleaned the fish for me without leaving a single bone and the chef asked about the food. Highly recommend this branch.
Loved this place. Sat at the bar and service was fantastic, very attentive. I ate:
- Chorizo croquetas (these were on the specials) 9/10
- Pan con tomato 9/10
- Tortilla 7/10
- Chicken a la catalana 7/10
- Chips (that had garlic Mayo and bravas sauce) 9/10
- Mushrooms with cured egg yolk 6/10
Managed to find 2 seats at the bar without a reservation and as always turned out to be a great experience. Lovely tapas and good service. Just wish prices were not as high, especially wines by the glass which I find quite over-priced for the quality.
Absolutely gorgeous seafood, we always go back and order a plate of the Gambas each every time

As always, we had a fantastic evening of wonderful food and drink. The staff were lovely and the place was buzzing. Our first visit to this particular venue, we were very impressed.
