Had a lovely dinner at the Notto Pasta Bar. The ambience of the restaurant was nice, with a fancy and modern interior.
The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. The pasta portion sizes are small, so 3 pasta dishes between 2 are recommended. In particular, I enjoyed the cacio e pepe and the ravioli dish. The black truffle pasta was more pricey, but I felt the flavours were not very strong and didn't feel as good value.
Overall, however, I had a good experience and I would come back again.
While the food is great, tastes fresh and delicious, the experience is pretty average. It’s quite crowded inside and the management seems a bit lost - they don’t respect the bookings. We arrived at 7:50pm for our 8pm booking but were told they are very busy and only gave us a seat at 8:30pm. Waiting 30mins at a restaurant which we had booked at least a week in advance is a rather poor experience.
The prices match the area, rather expensive. But the food makes up for it. Recommend trying the place on less busy days and times.
The restaurant suggests to order 3 for 2 persons, which is a fair statement. Good pastas and breads. Recommend to book in advance.
I enjoyed the pasta and sauce, as they were prepared well. However, I must admit that the focaccia was a disappointment - the texture was dense. On a positive note, the restaurant's interior boasted a delightful atmosphere.
They unfortunately only have 1 vegan pasta option. Would be nice to see more options in the future.
Delicious food fairly priced for its very central location, good atmosphere. The pasta portions don’t look big but in fact quite filling. We got two starters and one pasta each, hit the spot!
Wow..the food was amazing. Best pasta in London. Honestly the price you pay for the quality of food far exceeded my expectations. There was a good selection of cocktails and wine. We had the crab spaghetti and ravioli. For starters we had the foccacio bread and duck pate. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Some of the best pasta I have ever eaten in London!
We went as a group of 9 for a birthday meal. The staff were super friendly and so accomodating throughout. Our glasses were never empty and food was very prompt. Leo was particularly helpful and deserves a special mention!
The food itself was superb! I highly recommend the ricotta ravioli and the tiramisu. Both are potentially the best I've ever had!
Visit this place if you can!
Great food and ambience. I really enjoyed the starters of roasted pumpkin with almond pesto, and chestnut soup. Pastas were very tasty, but note that portions run small. My only gripe is that service was too slow, and we waited really long for the pasta. The dessert menu is also rather limited.
We had a great time dining here. The staff were attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. From the Focaccia bread and Parmesan arancini to the Tagliatelle pasta, we loved every bit of it.
Ate on a mid Saturday afternoon, absolutely delicious pasta and good service. The tiramisu was delishhhh too. We got 2 pastas between us and a dessert each and it was plenty so don’t take notice of the 3 between 2 recommendation unless you are really hungry! Still £40 for a pasta, drink and dessert which I think is quite expensive though? The brown shrimp spaghetti was the best (and v reasonable) whereas the mushroom tagliatelle not as good and almost double the price? Not sure why!
FOOD HEAVEN!! Sooo delicious! I have had the focaccia, parmesan arancini and the mushroom tagliatelle!! Highly recommend!! The mushroom pasta is one of the most expensive on the menu and it was worth every penny!! Excellent quality and flavors! I am in love with this place! Will definitely come back and bring visitors here!! Treat yourself :)
Excellent pasta. Cannot find anything better in central London. Must try is arancini with mushroom.
Very delicious and innovation taste food! The every pasta we order is very amazing and we really like! I think that’s one of best pasta restaurant in London😋
The vegetarian bolognese at Notto is probably the best I’ve ever tried! It’s a beautiful umami mix of cashews, tomatoes, and other small vegetables in the body of the sauce. They add some nutritional yeast to the sauce as well, to help give it that spongy bolognese texture. Really really wowed by this.
The spring lamb cannelloni was also quite nice, I’ve never tried anything like this before so can’t quite compare. The meat was well-seasoned and the texture of both pastas we had was very appealing.
The tiramisu was good but had a lot of alcohol in it!
Great place for dinner! Smaller portions but still reasonable prices for a very affluent area of the city. Around 10-20 pounds per person. The ravioli was amazing. All the dishes we tried were 10/10 and the service was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice night out. Focaccia bread starter is to die for!!
