Mambow - London - Photo album

The food was incredible! The night we ate there the chef was on her own too and she kept her cool in the open kitchen and put up excellent small plates of Malaysian food. So much depth of flavour in all…. My favourite was the lamb dish, but all were delicious!
So tasty! Every dish was incredible. The stand outs for me were the lor bak and the chicken curry. The prawns were also soo good. We shared around 10 dishes between 4 of us and that was a good amount for us. Reasonably priced for the food. We got the cheapest red which was 30 and lovely. I Mambow i
I have tried the Nasi lemak pork belly, the pork belly is very tender and has absorbed the sauce, unlike other nasi lemak I've tried elsewhere, the one is not as dry. I found the dish a bit salty for me. The chef told me this is her grandmother's recipe, I like restaurants making dishes with their
I came across Mambow from Chef Chris Pople’s Instagram who really liked their chicken sando, but I have a thing for Laksa so that was what I picked from the menu today. I enjoyed it quite a lot, the soup is less coconut-y and less creamy than the soup I had in other Malaysian restaurants around Lond
Nice space - a modern street food market in the heart of Peckham. Small menu so perfect for sharing (we ordered almost everything). Everything was delicious but the fish was a little too smelly for our liking. Highly recommend for a cheap and cheerful meal
Super tasty Malaysian food and nice wine. We sat at the bar it was a bit of a squeeze but I enjoyed watching the kitchen. Good service!
Delicious nasi lemak, full of flavours, if slightly too salty for me. They seemed understaffed and service was good but slow. They didn't have the dessert available 😔
We tried all the dishes on the menu between 4 people. Some dishes were good, example the fish wrapped in leaves and the chicken. The others were quite average. They are all unique dishes so worth trying out for experimenting but the serving portions are extremely small for the price.
Couldn’t wait to try this place and finally they started opening in week-ends !! They serve brunch so not the regular menu. I had the Nasi Lemak which was amazing ! Full of flavours, fresh and the Sambal is perfectly made with the right amount of spice. Chicken got the right crispiness and is genero
Inside Market Peckham. Bustling weekday dinner for two at the bar. Menu changes from time to time, we ordered 3 starters, 2 mains plus rice and drinks. Highlight was the Lor Bak and the Tangy Pineapple Curry. Busy staff but great service. Will be back to try the kam heong Mussels and Kerabu (22mar)
