Both tasty and well presented fine Chinese food although on the expensive side. The service is always good here with very attentive staff. Lots of veggie options. The restaurant decorations and ambient are nice and elegant. Definitely a great place to go to for a special occasion.
Very nice and lovely staff members. Especially Leon, Sarah. Hash makes nice cocktails. Chefs are very welcoming. The food is amazing amazing amazing 🤩🤩. The place is very comfortable and easy to access 😍. Oh btw there’s a gaming centre inside too.
I didn’t notice there was such a good, authentic chinese restaurant at elephant and castle. it easily became one of my favourites, with actual high quality chinese food. it was so good we couldn’t help but order more despite being so full!!
the wonton soup is a must try (you could request for noodles with it). the salt baked french beans was new to me but so delicious and refreshing. the shrimp in kung po sauce was amazing (and authentic too). the crab fried rice was my favourite tho, the dryness of the dish was just right. finally they gave us desserts on the house, the chocolate cake was really good, not too spongey nor too sweet.
First time visiting but will definitely be back. The food was perfection. The staff was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful and the prices were actually decent for the portions.
One critique- it’s really bright. Too bright for the quality of food and atmosphere they’re going for.
Came back twice. Love this. Classic and amazing taste dishes. The desert is also very recommended. Lovely service from Bobi and Ms Leon.
High quality food for excellent value. All of their food is worth trying. I’ve always enjoyed the red snapper, Peking duck, drunken chicken, fried rice, dim sum and much more. Their service is the best and they have comfy seats too. I will always be back for more.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oisoi, a Chinese restaurant in Elephant and Castle and let me tell you, the food was bloody delicious. The dim sum was some of the best I've had in a while. Though, I have to say, the portions were a bit on the small side and the prices were a bit steep. But, the quality of the food more than made up for it. The restaurant also had a few tables that were perfect for a large group of mates. The only downside was that the atmosphere was a bit sterile, but I imagine that's just because it's recently opened. If you're going, make sure you try the prawn with truffle oil caviar dim sum, it's fantastic.
Went for lunch with my family, and we had a really nice time. The service was exceptional with a lovely team. Food was good and nicely presented.
Amazing new restaurant in Elephant and Castle. Great vegetarian options as there is a whole menu. Dim sum basket was next level! Curry and chicken clay pot, fried rice, roasted duck, garlic and ginger broccoli were so flavorful and impressive! The service was exceptional, such nice staff and very attentive! Great dining experience! Relaxing atmosphere and seating! Definitely will come back!
Newly opened Chinese restaurant in Elephant Castle. Really nice and classy decoration. Received warm greeting from front staff.
We were 3 adults with 1 baby. They provided us with a very comfortable, yet sturdy.
For the food, try crispy shredded beef and steamed fish ! I believe the taste for the Singaporean vermicelli can be improved again, not too much pepper.
Price $$ of $$$
This is a recommended restaurant. We made a reservation one night in advance and arranged seats for us when we arrived the next day. When serving, we accidentally served the wrong dish, they found out in time and re-paid for the right dish without charging for it.
There are some clear strengths here so I am very generous in my rating here. The obvious strength is the food if you're not vegetarian and the alcoholic cocktails.
The weaknesses were so many I struggled between giving this a one star or a four. Firstly the service. The staff all seemed very sweet but very inexperienced with service at any level but they made a big point of aiming on fine dining and that was just not at all something they delivered. Very long waiting times to get the attention from staff. The glasses for cocktails we ordered before starters were empty before the mains came in but were still on the table when we wanted to order dessert.
The starters were consistently good but very, very different in size in a way the menu didn't prepare us for. The menu was very limited and we were informed of this on arrival. The temporary menu was easy to read in English but the Chinese font was too small and with a light colour and seemed more for a mood than to be informative. It was laminated and was one of the many things removing any chance of giving a fine dining experience.
The music was very loud at our table and it was difficult to have a conversation as a group and we had to speak one to one. Since we were a odd number it made one person quite alone at all times. The loud music might have been the reason for the staff mishearing us and ordered the wrong food for three of the items we ordered. But they did repeat it correctly so it probably was another reason. They didn't offer to give the correct items with the cooked food and charged full price and the items received was more expensive that what we ordered. One wrong item was the wine and that was possible to change to what we ordered.
The staff did not remember who had ordered what at any of the three courses. Fine in many cases but since they brought up themselves how this was done dining where I'm used to a certain level of attention I want to mention it.
We ordered two alcoholic cocktails. Lady in red (4/5) and the New Old Fashioned (3/5) and their signature mocktail Blue & Pink (1/5). The Lady in Red was creamy, well balanced but got overwhelmingly minty by the large amount of mint leaf garnish. The New old fashioned was smoking and served in a fun glass but lacked bitters and was overly sweet. The mocktail was kindly described as a watered down purple smoothie served in a wineglass. Not at all a cocktail styled mocktail but something a child would do at home.
For starters we had the veg spring rolls (3/5), fried tofu (3/5), chicken wings (e/5) and dim sum (5/5). The spring rolls were very pretty but with very thick pastry and little filling. The tofu was tasty but a bit repetitive to eat for one person and probably better as a part of a sharing experience. The chicken wings were ok but in SE London that is easy to come by. No five dining twist on any of them. The clear winner was the dim sum that is well worth going back for. Pretty, tasty and so fresh.
For mains we had the biggest disappointment. We ordered five mains and let's start from the bottom. One vegetarian in the company can't have more than a little tofu and ordered the seasonal vegetables dish that was presented as a vegetarian main and was a delicious plate of Pak choi with a garlic sauce. To serve only Pak choi with some steamed rice as a full main course felt like a joke on how it was to be a vegetarian in the 1980's not in London this year. 0/5 because it didn't even feel like a meal. If any staff had asked us about how it was when we got the food and not 42 minutes later we could possibly have asked for something else but I doubt they could deliver anything. Suggestion is to throw a good first of nuts on a single veg only dish if you want to charge £13 for it. The vegan ma po was ok. Nothing clearly wrong with it but it didn't stick out from the great cheap Chinese takeaway restaurants around 2/5. The sweet and sour chicken was alright 3/5, the beef noodle wok was good but very small portion 3/5. Lamb rack 4/5.
The desserts were ok but didn't match their description 3/5
Very tasty and beautifully presented food. Staff are all really friendly and attentive. We had the peking duck and it’s nearly the same as in Beijing. Looking forward to trying other dishes!

Very good quality of food and reasonably prized.Very friendly staff the manager was very helpful, she explained the whole menu to us and offered a few out of menu dishes. Taste of Ocean was beautifully presented. The scallop was pan fried perfectly. Soft and tender scallop combined with crispy caramelised walnut and Yuzu Juz. Amazing 😍😍😍 Tempura Fried Samphire was crispy and flavourful. Absolutely perfect starter🥰🥰🥰
Assorted Dim Sums were delicious. Among all I loved the truffle prawn dumpling the most. Authentic dim sum with modern twist. Incredible 😍😍😍
Beef fillet was soft and juicy but the amount of foie gras was comparatively small. SHUI ZHU YU was my favourite as the Seabass was very soft and went very well with Szechuan spice. Fabulous 🥰🥰🥰 The three cup chicken was ok but not very surprising. Tropical delight was Mango Pomelo Sago which combined the sweet nectar of fresh mangos, creamy coconut milk, and chewy tapioca sago pearls. Fabulous dessert 🥰🥰🥰
@oisoiuk also offer vegetarian tasting menu. I’m looking forward to try it next time😍😍😍

It was a great dining experience for me!:)
Soooooo delicious!! Super impressed by the quality of the food, spacious interior (way more spacious than it looks from the outside) and friendly staff! The photos don’t do it justice, my sister and I are picky eaters and we are so thrilled to find this place right below where we live
