Just all round good experience. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t too busy but still some atmosphere. Fast, friendly and attentive service and the food was fantastic. We ended up eating fat more than we intended to just to try more of the menu. Highly recommend

Met up with fine friends who all love Mexican food for a birthday celebration - We weren’t disappointed. Service was friendly and prompt and they were very helpful in recommending cocktails and food. The atmosphere was great - dark, moody and comfortable. On to the cocktails first - very tasty and a good selection. Very well made cocktails and far too easy to consume. Abit too much ice if I’m critical - would prefer a more cocktail less ice combination. Followed by delicious tasty food. Lots of flavour in each dish - yummy. Portions were good and recommend ordering a few dishes then waiting to order more. We struggled to finish all our food. It may have been the amount of cocktails consumed! Highly recommended and will be back. One negative is that we contacted the ‘secret bar’ via WhatsApp - as required - prior to the booking a few days before and heard nothing back which is a shame as we would have gone on to this after the dinner. Still haven’t heard from them 2 days after the event! Obviously a very very top secret bar 😃 Never the less we had a lovely time at the not so secret restaurant… About the restaurant Adriana Cavita’s first solo project in the UK is a traditional Mexican restaurant named Cavita in the heart of Marylebone Village. Built around the knowledge acquired from her travels, Cavita encompasses food traditions from all over Mexico, from the capital, where Adriana was born, across to Oaxaca and the Yucatan. The 70-cover restaurant has an open fire kitchen at its core, with reclaimed granite tables for couples and smaller groups, as well as communal dining available at the chef's table. Downstairs sits the hidden mezcaleria, Mayahuel, a beautiful atmospheric cocktail and mezcal bar and a wonderful spot to enjoy the finest Mexican spirits.

Cavita is the restaurant with the most authentic flavours of Mexican food that I have ever tasted. They have a delicious spicy margarita and a great variety of mezcal. The atmosphere is super versatile, you can have a amazing romantic date or a full family dinner.

Lovely and fun ambiance, well-managed restaurant. The staff were very attentive and quick. Andrea at the reception was fabulous. First time for me to book via The Fork app but not very user-friendly app. Andrea was so helpful and accommodating and sorted us out that night. Food was good and appealing, appetising. Catchy drinks too.

Delicious food journey, perfect amount of spice that warms you up from the inside out. The spicy margarita was so refreshing and the tequila so smooth that you don’t taste it but you feel it. Would love to return to try the tacos or mole! John provided excellent service, thank you.

Fantastic food just way too pricey, only go if you can afford. We took the 5 cheapest dishes to share between two with no drinks and still paid £80 which is outrageous for Mexican food. Having said that, each dish was unique in its taste and we appreciated each bite of each dish. Service was friendly and professional. The menu is rather complicated to understand for non-Mexicans in my opinion so we had to ask for some advice. Really enjoyed it, only really marking down for pricing.

The interior design and ambiance is remarkable. I am Mexican and the place has an authentic vibe. Service is great with friendly staff as one would expect from a Latinamerican establishment. Food is a success; it is Not a tropicalization, it the real deal with a dash of fusion with Asian flavours. I highly recommend the ceviche tostada and the cochinita pibil from the lunch menu. Horchata and Agua de pepino for drinks. Five stars on the tortillas (hand made with great maize dough) and the salsas. I will be coming back to try dinner menu. Food is great and is value for flavour however inexperienced or casual commensals might feel the menu is pricey. You need to have a somehow developed taste for Mexican flavours to fully appreciate the curated dishes offered in this extraordinary Mexican restaurant.

Amazing food, cocktails and ambience. Definitely a must visit place for authentic Mexican. Expect to pay quite a lot, but it’s in central London so should not be a surprise to anyone. Anyone reviewing this less than 5 stars is 100% unhappy with the price, the quality of food and service is impeccable and there’s physically no way to have reasons to not have liked it. An amazing place to have dinner before venturing for a night out in central. Will come back soon for sure!

Great place overall. The food is truly incredible (especially the chicken and the beef quesadilla, but ceviche was mid in my opinion). Good vibe and enjoyed seeing the kitchen. Service is quick as well. Only problem: if you booked through the fork, you might actually have booked for the bar and not the restaurant. Staff was kind enough to give us a seat upstairs but it was not clear when booking

No picture will tell you how good this place tastes. Clearly the best Mexican restaurant we've been to in London. The flavors are there, the colors and variety of plates as well. We might have gotten a bit excited by the menu and ordered more than we should have, but in the end, we finished our plates and even got a few drinks in their mezcalarea downstairs, where we got to learn the difference between mezcals and tequilas, thanks to the amazing waitress there.

Been to Cavita for their brunch and dinner. I highly recommend their brunch. The dishes are delicious, great sized and very authentically Mexican. The staff is all Latin American which add to the authenticity. The decor is beautiful and they are dog friendly.

The restaurant is beautiful, giving off a chic and rustic vibe (felt like Mexico in the centre of London). The cocktail I had was delicious, and the food was good, however, I was a bit disappointed as we ordered the crab tostadas but unfortunately they forgot to serve it to us. Our main meals came quickly and assumed the starters would come after, which in our minds was strange timing wise, but by the end they never turned up to our table, and as we were in a rush we decided to leave it. I would recommend the restaurant, but I would advise the waitress to write down the orders on paper instead of keeping it on the head as clearly things get forgotten that way.

I think overall it's good. The beetroot salad was so yummy and it looks beautiful as well. Wine is good too. The decor itself is very cute and giving you that subtle Coco vibes. For the main dish we ordered the sharing platter but bit meh for me. The chicken was so dry and the green onions were just so-so. But I think it's a good option for a date night.
