Not very many places get full marks but this place was outstanding. The menu options were varied and had a good range of vegetarian and vegan options along side meat options. (I know this cos I went with all 3 people) The starter salads and fritters were all delicious and a great way to wet your appetite for more food. The curries and noodle dishes were also all delicious. We had the deep fried fish which was entirely edible including bones. All of the cocktails were delicious and well Ballanced. The drinks menu was wide and had a great selection within each category. You can talk a lot of thought and attention went into creating both the food menu and the drinks that diners will have to accompany their meal. The modern decor suited the modern take on classic dishes. The service was good and food arrived promptly. There is very little I can say about this place that I didn't like or wished was different.

I was part of a large group booking who opted for the Ruby feasting menu - this menu included a huge variety of small plates and then mains. There was definitely enough food for our group of 11 and we were all able to try a bit of everything. The dishes themselves were delicious and inventive and had some good options for vegetarians/vegans. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting, although some staff members could have been a bit more friendly.

Brilliant food and great atmosphere. We went here for dinner and were out on the balcony. Ordered the grilled aubergine to start which was good (if you like peanuts) if a bit oily. For our mains we ordered the braised mutton curry, coconut noodles with chicken, lentil chow chow and hake masala with rice/paratha sides. Unfortunately, the hake didn't turn up until after everyone else had almost finished their meal and after following up more than once we were told we never placed the order when we clearly did. In the end, they found that the order had been placed and was on the ticket but never got submitted so they offered us a discount. It left an unpleasant tint to the evening though because of their initial reaction of making us seem at fault. I can't fault the food, because the hake, when it did turn up was absolutely delicious. Hopefully the service matches the food next time. I would order the hake and the mutton again.

Had a wonderful evening bite to eat at Lahpet. Wanted somewhere different and I’ve always wanted to try Burmese Cuisine and it definitely didn’t disappoint, had some amazing gluten free options which I always look for when I’m out with my family. We had the ginger salad, Tofu Nway and lentil dish (forgot the name). Alll we’re so fresh and delicious, the ginger salad was very crunchy and so tasty/refreshing. Tofu cooked different but so so nice! All the textures of dishes provided a yummy crunchiness with lots of flavour. Amazing decor and cool vibes throughout, toilets were very clean and different! Only improvement I’d say would be the service as was very laid back but maybe that’s a positive in someways too…just could have been a little more attentive. All in all lovely food and enjoyable experience! Will be back :)

Good food but a bit expensive. Booked through the FirstTable app and still ended up paying £80 (after the discount) for 2 starters and 2 mains, a non alcohol cocktail and 2 alcoholic cocktails, 1 desert. Cocktails are excellent. Would be nice to have some more non alcoholic options. The cassava cake is delicious. That was definitely my highlight.

I loved the place. We were sitting on the balcony, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing ( it was mid-week evening and the restaurant was not busy). Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful with making choices what to order. We stopped there for drinks and were very pleased to see different cocktails, not standard cocktails list, that I had never tried before. The wine choices were also good. Panda Sling cocktail was great. We also ordered Lahpet Thoke to try some food. The salad was a very diverse and interesting dish in many ways. We will definitely be back to try other food and will recommend it to other people.

Great location, tucked away slightly from all the hustle bustle. Window seats were great but their outdoor seating is covered so great for this mid season alfresco dining. Staff were amazing although we were here pre theatre and perhaps felt the service was a bit relaxed which under normal circumstances would have been great as you do not feel pressured to leave! A delicious simple menu! Perfect venue to catch up with friends or for date day or night and such a great location. The modern fusion twist on their creme brûlée for me was just genius! Some how still having the original feel of a creme brûlée but with such distinct Asian flavours! Must try!

We came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday, it was a lovely experience. We had yellow pea paratha fritters for starter and mutton curry with rice for main. The food was good and the waiters serving us were friendly. They also reassured me in the preparation of the food we ordered as other dishes on the menu contained peanuts which I’m allergic to.
