It was so so good! As we entered, we were unexpectedly greeted by a warm and cheerful wave from all the staff who seemed to be genuinely interested in how we were and things. Customer service was fantastic, ALL their staff were super helpful and the food was great! They've definitely got themselves a regular customer.
A few friends recommended this place if I was in London so I gave it a try last weekend.
Arguably the best coffee I've ever had...and the portions! Not your typical pretentious London coffee shop.
The deli of the day was a pastrami baguette with salad, gherkins and mustard which again was delicious and a generous size.
Would highly recommend if you're in and around Essex Road
Good quality ingredients but the hollandaise was very bland which made our eggs Florentine and Benedict quite bland. But it was otherwise well made and the tea was excellent.
Nice clean spot for a quiet coffee. Good selection of bakes, pastries and sandwiches. Friendly owner. Plenty of power points - great for those who want to sit and do some computing or recharging phones etc.
Really really like this place. It’s very warm and welcoming - I definitely love the atmosphere here. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. It’s not expensive as well. Definitely gonna be here more often and looking forward to my next visit already :)

Pastries are so fresh...I couldn't wait to finish mine...Pop along for a quiet 5 minutes or fir chatty time with your friends...I'll will be back again...staff know customers by name

I get my coffee and pastries from here very regularly. Very happy with the service, the staff are very welcoming and I am able to sit and study. Occasionally get lunch and really enjoy the toasties, jacket potatoes and the deli of the day. The staff are kind to meet my dietary/ religious requirements when preparing my food every single time ! Extremely pleased with the service :)
The coffee was 10/10 no questions asked even though i found the prices to be quite dear. £3.55 for a flatwhite. The cookie i ordered was different to the one that arrived but its simple things that happen that i wouldnt complain about. The general vibe and interior of this place is super clean and chill but me personally i just dont like the fact that its not table service.I feel like this is a remote workers dream location with its spacious tables and its comfortable stools. I was expecting the food menu to have a little more on there but they do make up for it with the good quality counter food. Will definitely come again as the prices and the non-table service factor is understandable.
£2.75 double Espresso - I've definitely had better espresso's from specialty places for the same price. However, they don't claim to be Speciality and so it's fair to say it's a pretty good commodity/chain espresso, definitely palatable after it cools.
Lots of food choices, great warm and welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and friendly staff, lots of plugs and space.
I'd go elsewhere for better coffee at the same price, but for commodity/chain I'd choose here for the service and space over Costa, Nero etc.

Lovely, new coffee shop with a great ambiance! I ordered a latte and toastie (which is my go-to in the mornings) which were delightful. The staff are very welcoming and provide a quick service! Would definitely recommend!!

My mum told me this new place had opened on the Essex Road and we should visit. A place like this was much needed, as there are plenty of coffee shops in the Angel and Highbury and even just down on Southgate Road, but on this stretch of the Essex road it was slim pickings. The staff were super friendly, it was very warm and clean, and being that I am vegan and gluten free they could cater for me nicely. Great little place, I'm glad it's there, we will definitely visit again soon!
I have come in to the store a few times and I normally never write reviews, however the service I have received each time has been great! A young lady Isma has served me every single time with a huge smile and great service above and beyond. I just wanted to say a huge thank you and I look foward to coming to the store regularly for my coffee.
