The theatre cafe diner is a great place if you love musicals & theatre. We did expect to hear more songs and especially from the request board, but unfortunately they didn’t… The food was pretty okay, I loved the waffles & chicken. I would recommend making like a to share menu for smaller portions. Overall great experience ❤️

This was a great experience, especially for parents that have kids who are hugely into musical theatre. The staff were incredible, and if possible we would give them 6 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere inside the diner was really friendly and fun, and the videos really don't do justice to some of the amazing performances of some of the songs when performed live in front of you. The food was fine, nothing special, but for the cost you would expect it to be better. Of course you're really paying for the entertainment and the unique experience. Additionally, a 15% service charge was added to the bill automatically. We had no real objection to the charge, and we would have left a tip for the staff anyway, we're just not a huge fan of having these automatically added to the bill... so something to be aware of if you’re planning a visit. We did consider a second visit, but we gave it a miss simply because it is an expensive dinner for what you get. But if you enjoy the theatre and musical theatre, it's a great experience you should try!

This is an absolutely incredible place if you love musical theater! We were on vacation in the UK for 2 weeks and ate here twice. Every few minutes one of the servers breaks out in a full theatrical song, walking around both floors. Many of the staff should be on West End stages themselves, as they were that good! All eras of musicals are covered. Oh, and the food is good! Honestly some of the best ribs I've ever had, and I say that as an American living in the South! Special shout-out to Andy for helping make our last night in England special. This is our new favorite place and will be a must-do event for us if we find ourselves in London again.

Such a fun place! Amazing unique experience if you are into musical theatre. While you are there sitting down, in between serving, the waiters will get up and perform musical numbers. The food was really tasty, we ended up actually having just a starter and chips and that felt like main meal! Service was good although because we went at the busiest time, some bits like getting the bill and getting the waiters attention took a while and we had to go up to the bar but that was not a big issue at all. Overall a really fun experience and great for kids!

The Theatre Cafe Diner is a great stop with kids, family or friends who just can't get enough of musicals. The decor and ambiance in the place is brilliant and the staff both friendly, and really good singers. There is a fair amount of choice of American Classics here, burgers, chicken hot dogs etc so quite easy to satisfy most. While the food is fairly average, portion sizes are good. However, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is fantastic. Ultimately this diner wins you over with how much fun it is to be here with live renditions from staff (and occassional brave customers).

Absolutely loved our visit, really worth visiting. Performances are great, can’t remember our servers name but she had a phenomenal voice and a lovely Scottish accent. Wish they had the cast/servers on the website so we can keep an eye out for them for future show castings. Really interactive and fun wait staff. Prices are not bad, £14-£15 for a burger and chips. We live outside London and those are the prices for similar food in Kent. We excepted it to be more for central London prices. They added a 20% service charge (happily paid it for the great service and entrainment, very fair) so keep that in mind, but honestly I don’t mind paying it. Can’t wait to go back. Theming obviously great. Food and cocktails were lovely.

Loved this, lots of fun and the food is good too. This is the only cafe of its type in the London area and is very good but lacks the 'party atmosphere' of Ellen's Stardust Diner in New York which is the best comparator I know of. I love West End and loved this cafe.

It was amazing, great place for musical theatre lovers, food was good, but main thing you would ho there for is experience. The serving staff is super talented and they perform live while you enjoy your food, and in between performances they play musical theatre songs constantly. It was my birthday meal, and i loved every second. First time here, definitely won't be the last. Our server was Megan and she was fantastic, very lovely and friendly, and amazing voice!

Good food, great entertainment from the staff. If you like musicals you will love the experience at the Theatre Cafe Diner. Recommend booking in advance, but the staff do make every effort to get you in if you don't have a reservation.

Loved it! Family dinner here on Saturday - lovely atmosphere and really enjoyed it. Food was great, but best of all were the staff. All were amazing but special mention to our server Melissa - I asked her if she sings there and she let my daughter choose which Six song (Ann Boleyn!) and then she sang it. Brilliant! The Bruce Bog cake is delicious! Will definitely return!

Waiting/Singing staff are brilliant and incredibly talented 👏 atmosphere is great here it's just a shame the food isn't great. The lady next to me said the same too. The first time I went it was great but on my second visit I paid nearly £20 for a vegan salad, the "Chicken" was okay but all the salad was brown. I get you pay for the experience more than the food but as the food is quite pricey I'd atleast expect it to be fresh 😔

First visit and it was brilliant. Loaded potatoes to start, some of the tastiest I have had. Great mains of ribs and chicken burger. Then a red velvet cake with popcorn, ice cream and whipped cream for dessert... looked and tasted delicious. Emily was our server and sang a fair few tunes alongside so many of the other waiting staff. Great entertainment, fab voices and so entertaining. An excellent range of show tunes throughout our 2+ hour visit. Thanks everyone for a fab Saturday night , Gill and Amy xx

Such a fun place! The food is average and reasonably priced. Had the burger which was fine but a little dry. Definitely gives the vibe of the Stardust diner in New York. The staff were super friendly and the singing was a joy. The toilets are beautiful.

The Theatre Cafe Diner was amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic, all the staff are super talented! It seems like such a fun place to work, and all the staff seemed to be having a good time too. The food was tasty, and the portion sizes were good. About what you'd expect for value for money in London. The desserts were especially good!!! I had the red velvet cake and it was a massive slice that came with ice cream and popcorn too! Admittedly the service was on the slow side, it took just over an hour from us sitting down to our food arriving, but even though we were hungry we didn't really mind as the performances were outstanding. We left feeling stuffed after dessert so it was worth the wait. What makes the Theatre Cafe Diner experience so good is truly the staff, each and every one is phenomenal!!

Went to the diner as a birthday treat after seeing a show and loved every minute. Food was amazing and there was so much of it !! The wait staff entertain you by singing songs from musicals and they were all so talented. Definitely recommend a visit before or after your show.

We went for dinner here before a musical - as a musical lover, the atmosphere is really fun and the singing was incredible! I will however say that the food quality was quite poor (at least the burgers & chips which is what we both ordered), and ended up not finishing it - also a bit expensive for what it was. Also saw some other main dishes from other tables going back to the kitchen only half eaten. For starters we had the mozzarella sticks, which were delicious but also very expensive considering the quantity. The deserts however may be really nice as everyone was finishing them! And the cocktails looked great too. Overall, I will definitely go back for a cocktail or some snacks, as just the decorations and singing of the staff make it worth it
