One of the best cafes I've ever been to. It tends to be packed since it's in Covent garden in London so it can get loud upstairs . Otherwise I don't find anything wrong with it. The servers are attentive and amicable. The pastries are incredible. I particularly recommend the Parmigiana& Aubergine Croissant as well as the Pistachio& Raspberry Croissant. They were flaky, soft and packed with flavor and looked beautiful to boot. The Flatbreads are incredible as well. Their coffees are available in decaf too. Also you have a nice view on a small shopping street in Covent garden. I went here twice within a week and don't regret a single penny I spent. If I would live here I'd probably go here at least once a week .

Lovely little cafe tucked away in the back streets of Covent Garden. It is quite popular though, so you may find it a little busy, but come early ish and it's a nice place for a catch-up. My favourite item on their menu is the sticky cinnamon bun, if you have a sweet tooth, you'll love it

Upon entering Chesnut Bakery, I was warmly greeted with a "Welcome to Chesnut Bakery." Initially planning to order something to go, I was convinced by the friendly waitress to dine in. The enticing aroma of fresh bread and spices wafting from the kitchen near the tills was a delightful preview of what was to come. When it was my turn, I was invited to choose any available seat, and I was assured that someone would take my order shortly. I decided on the flatbread, which introduced me to an exquisite new taste. Throughout my visit, the service provided by the same attentive waitress truly brightened my lunch; it felt both genuine and heartfelt. The interior decor was simple yet charming, featuring bright white and pastel colors. In the end, I couldn't leave without asking for her name. Jackie, thank you for your outstanding service—it made my visit truly memorable. I'm looking forward to returning regularly, and I'm thrilled to have discovered this gem of an address.

Chestnut Bakery is by far one of my most favourite cafe's I have discovered since moving to London! Delicious freshly made sweet and savoury pastries every day that all taste exquisite and amazing coffee too. I've lived in London only a few months and have already visited 4/5 times! The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly too. Couldn't recommend enough 💛

Lovely cafe in a corner of Central London! Great range of fresh pastries to choose from and all very delicious and filling. I got the aubergine sandwich - very tasty. The flatbreads to share looked very appetising too. I recommend this cafe if you're looking to have a quick pit stop in the morning 👌

Tried here for coffee and a pastry having just flown in early that morning. Had the Tiramisu Danish which was stunning. Creamy, smooth coffee mascarpone and cream nestled on savioardi within a pastry shell. Really good. Excellent choice of pastries. Service a bit slow but you can pay your bill by scanning the QR code on your table.

I came in by myself on a Sunday - it fills up quite quickly post 10am but they do have plenty of tables, so if your not picky about where you want to sit, you should be fine. I ordered an orange juice (which is freshly squeezed) and the tiramisu danish (which is the main reason I came in). The danish is so so good and they really have kept true to the tiramisu flavors!

Been a foodie hunting for good viennoiseries.. Chestnut bakery did not disappoint. Love their Aubergine Croissant, honey cheese Croissant waffle and tiramitsu!! Shout out to Zahra and Amin for their friendly and warmth service. Solo diner but the view from second floor was soothing with the natural lighting..

Amazing bakery tucked away on Floral St in Covent Garden. My husband and I went twice, once for pastries and once to share a flatbread, and of course also enjoyed the coffee each time. The flatbread was a great little brunch with fantastic seasoning, while the pastries were a great snack/breakfast and there were so any options. The service was also friendly and attentive. My only regret is that we didn’t find it sooner during our 1 week stay in London!

Lovely little place on a cosy street in covent garden. Really recommend for fresh pastries. I had the mushroom and truffle Danish, and it was fantastic. The sweet taste of the pastry combined with the savoury saltiness of the mushrooms was a unique flavour. Please try this place out for a quick break while shopping. The coffee was really good quality too, which is always a plus. Staff were very accommodating. Thank you. Banana bread was nice, slightly dry, but still very good. Taste was there.

Such a great cafe with a nice atmosphere but primarily amazing food! The pastries are absolutely amazing, highly recommend the rightly popular honey&geymar croissant which is the perfect combination of sweet, salty, creamy and crispy. The za'atar pastry and matcha strawberry croissant were hits as well. I'm less enthousiastic about the drinks, the matcha latte is made with real matcha but lacks any other kind of flavour and the simple cold brew was not that good either despite it costing just as much as the specialty coffees. The cappuccino is okay. During the times that we visited the cafe it was quite crowded, with lots of families with small children, and in our experience they tend to be quite loud in the hollow-ish sounding space. In my opinion this took away from the cosy atmosphere you would expect from the cafe. But with pastries this great, there's nothing that could make me give anything but 5 stars!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. The waiter was polite and patient even though we gave her hard time choosing from the menu. The flatbread was delicious. I don’t think the cinnamon rolls worth trying.

A bit chaotic spot but cute location. It is a bit hard to tell if you should sit down or order at the counter. After waiting in the line I was told to sit down for dining in...anyways the pecan pastry was very nice. But the hecticness of the place kinda ruins your experience. Coffee wasn't really a flat white but was good

Nice and cost bakery/restaurant in covent garden, London 🇬🇧 The pastries were amazing, the burrata pizza a bit too oily and more bread than topping for the price. The view upstairs is nice and the atmosphere of the place quiet and nice also.

One of the best bakery treats I have had - the twice baked pecan croissant! Omg. I liked it so much I went back a day later to get two to fly home. I walked by and noticed the pretty flowers (it’s on Floral street). They have mostly amazing looking sweet baked goods. I was intrigued by the savory, a halloumi sandwich and an eggplant pastry. The croque monsieur had a great crispy croissant and quite a bit of cheese. The sweets are fantastic. The almond croissant was full of almond paste and I loved the pile of almonds on top. The twice baked pecan croissant was the best. So crispy end with lots of pecans on top. And then a surprise of chocolate inside! Both my visits were take away. The people working were very nice. I’ll be back next time I’m in London.
