Popped in for late dinner because I just need to try it out! Super easy to order, very quick depending on the queue. I had a small bowl of plain udon with prawns tempura (£10.50!) unbelievable cheap in London. The broth was so delicious and light. That’s the best broth by far. Tempura was light and crispy especially dipped with their sauce. Very enjoyable meal. Definitely will come back for more.

Marugame Udon is a culinary gem that beautifully combines the flavors of traditional Japanese cuisine with the convenience of a fast-food restaurant setup. One of my favorite dishes on their menu is the Chicken Paitan. What sets Marugame Udon apart is its the quality and taste. One of the unique aspects of Marugame Udon is its open-kitchen concept, allowing you to witness the chefs handcrafting your udon noodles from scratch. Don't miss the chance to savor their offerings; you won't be disappointed!

One of my daughters favorite restaurant. This seems to be more spacious than the one in O2. Amazing atmosphere, I remember you can change the screen wallpaper in there down stairs seating. You just have to scan the qr code, which is interesting. We ordered the usual Beef nikutama Tempura different kinds Gyoza Chicken karaage Salmon with rice (I forgot the name) Food taste great as always.

The girl who served me, I think her name was Sophie, was really nice. The food was really good and reasonably priced for a place in the heart of London. The drinks were lovely, the chopsticks were great to use and they even have soy sauce suitable for everyone. There was gluten free, less salt, it was a dream come true! The server was also our age I think, so she was really friendly and we had a laugh. She also gave us tips on how to join the Marugame Club, it was really worth it and now I get a discount. Thank you Sophie La and the Marugame establishment for treating me and my friend so well.We will be coming back every week before we go home to Ecuador. Adios

Had a lovely meal out with some family. We tried different Udons each, the Katsu Chicken Curry Udon, the Chicken Paitan and the beef kimchi udon. The chicken was really soft, I got the large bowl which felt like I was eating endlessly. Got some extra fried sides, the prawn tempura tasted really nice and crispy, the sweet potato croquettes unfortunately wasn’t my cup of tea however the sweet potato tempura tasted really nice. The onset egg was cooked perfectly nice and runny and gave a lovely creamy texture to the noodles. Was also nice to see the staff coming round asking how the food was!

I had an incredible dining experience at Marugame Oxford Circus, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. What truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Adrian. He went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect, and his knowledge and recommendations were spot on. The combination of great food and exceptional service truly deserves a 5-star rating. I highly recommend Marugame Oxford Circus, and be sure to ask for Adrian when you visit!

Came here with my partner and ordered the beef Nikutama. Very simple dish but given the price point, it’s nicely done. Good value. My bowl was lacking broth (it was almost just a noodle dish). I went back to the counter to ask if they could top my bowl up with hot water. The guy was very helpful and without hesitation gave me a second small bowl of hot broth to add to my dish. Was much appreciated and I really enjoyed my dish.

I have never visited this restaurant chain before and I was sceptical about the quality. I could not have been more wrong. The food was wonderful and beautifully fresh. We all sampled something different on the menu and every dish we had was lovely - the portion sizes were good too, we had medium sized bowls and honestly it was more than enough. It was a bit pricy (about 55 quid for 4 of us) but the flavours were so fresh that it felt worth it. I would definitely go back again.

They already have a meal deal! For £9.95, you can get noodles, two tempuras and unlimited fizz! It's one of our favorite noodle shops in London and they have very fast service. Their ice cream machine is broken most of the time though, but they have really good selection of sauces and sides. I always overflow my bowl with their unlimited tempura crisps!

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Marugame Udon in London, and it was a good experience from start to finish. The udon dishes were good and the variety of toppings allowed me to customize my bowl just the way I like it. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the host. Their genuine friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was not only delicious but also memorable. I can't wait to return to Marugame Udon and relive this wonderful experience. I am not an expert on Japanese food but really enjoyed this experience . If you're in London Argyll st and looking for a place that offers both delectable udon and exceptional hospitality, look no further than Marugame Udon.
