A place you want to call home. Why? You are made to feel welcome, and indeed special, from the moment you step through the door. I opted to sit at the bar, just wanting a drink. Bar staff courteous and efficient. Then, deciding I wanted something to eat, the front of house team accommodated without a blink. Steak was cooked, and seasoned, to perfection. Manager kindly took time to engage. Charming. Plus she recommended a cocktail to close the evening. Old Fashioned. Perfect. Overall, a brilliant experience, which reflects a tightly run, welcoming ship. Will be back. Kudos to front of house, and kitchen, for creating a special place. Thank you.
Fantastic restaurant! Food is always delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff are attentive and warm. We've had both breakfast and lunches here and love the seating outside as well as the beautiful decor inside. Also major props for having the nicest baby changing facilities out of any restaurant we've been to!

Had lunch with a friend here one weekend. Was really pleased with the menu and quality of food. Blend of flavours in salad really tasty. We also had tea which was good. Service was attentive. Lovely ambience. Am recommending this place to my friends and family.
My friend and I had three courses and drinks here and thoroughly enjoyed it, sitting outside in the evening sunshine. The food was very good, as was the atmosphere. Special mention for Harry our waiter - he was friendly, helpful, and very competent. We’d definitely recommend a visit.
Best breakfast in the neighborhood! I've lived nearby for 2 years now and this is the best quality "kinda English" breakfast that I've had. All the ingredients were prepared perfectly. I don't normally find sauteed greens exciting, but these were delish.
Unfortunately I can not rate the rooms as I only been there for drinks and food. And definitely I would give 5 star! The drinks are excellent and professionally made. The Cosmo wasy favourite. And of corse the food is delicious with attention for the details. Hummus, aubergine and those halloumi sticks were the top.
Must try is the cauliflower wings, made with a delicious sriracha battered that make them so crispy out and tender inside.
The service is 100% professional. Many compliments to Pietro the manager who makes us feel like at home 🙏
Highly recommend and definitely will come back.
We had a lovely date night at Oak&Poppy. The staff were very attentive and friendly; drinks were amazing and the food was outstanding (we had all 3 courses!). The interior decoration and atmosphere with all of the above makes this a really special place. Thanks for a wonderful evening

The food is absolutely fantastic - good size portions and perfect balanced flavour! Finally a decent place for food in Hampstead.
The service on the other hand needs some work. The day we went we were looked after by 3 different people and only one of them was great (long curly hair guy, sadly didn’t catch his name). The waitress was ok - was very slow and forgot a couper of things.
And then out of nowhere in a middle of dessert and drink we were told by a manager? (I heard him speaking Italian to a collègue, so presume he’s Italian) that we had to get up and move to bar stools to finish our dinner - we were never warned that the table was booked and had no idea we had a cut off time. Also we had a 3 year old with us, who was not able to sit on a bar stool anyways.
The manager was rude and not a singe apology. He kept waking past us and give us stink looks whilst we were finishing. We had to down our drinks and leave. It didn’t help that the people waiting for a table were eyeing us as well . I have never been treated like this in my life! So embarrassing. What a shame as otherwise it was a very pleasant evening.
Please do some staff training as I would love to get back to your venue!
Stunning cafe with lovely service from Destiny and the manager. Loved the interior design as well as the range of meal options on the menu. A great option for catch-ups with friends!
I love the service here. The staff really took great care of us and made our experience magnificent. No pretentiousness. The decor is lovely and the food was amazing.

We were mooching round Hampstead and stumbled on this place. Needing recaffeinating we stopped.
The latte was perfect. The peach iced tea was crisp and refreshing.
The star of the show were the duck bao buns. Two mouthfuls each. Like eating earthy, spicy clouds. Divine.

One of my favourite restaurant in Hampstead Village. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is always excellent and there is a great atmosphere (bright and airy for breakfast or lunch, and cosy and intimate for dinner).
