Amazing food from a real hidden gem! Came across this place due to the great reviews so had to try… and was not disappointed! We tried a couple starters and mix of curries. All of the meat was incredibly tender and the curries really well spiced and rich. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish, couldn’t fault anything! Could only get a pic of the empty plates at the end, but I think that pretty much says everything. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

In all honesty, eating here has me gobsmacked! As a local I’ve seen other mediocre restaurants come and go on this corner- NOT THIS ONE 1. The customer service was fantastic, orders were taken straight away and staff were friendly throughout the entire meal, I even got a picture of one of the chef’s - they’re so happy. 2. The food was absolutely spot on, I am of Indian origin so I would like to think I am their biggest critic, but the dishes were faultless. It is very very clear they use fresh, high quality ingredients because you can taste the difference. 3. The food was served piping hot and the salad wasn’t the typical small pieces of onion in a bag! Proper slices of onion on the side. 4. Portion sizes reflect the price, I went with my fiancé, we could not finish the food and had to pack every single dish. I would say one main dish could feed 3. 5.The restaurant was clean and the chairs were very comfortable to sit in. The dishes were served in gorgeous tiny pots so I’d recommend dining in for the full experience. Here are some photos of the dishes I got; they are all vegetarian dishes and tasted 10/10 so my theory is if someone knows how to make vegetables taste good, I have no doubt they will be able to make meat. FYI I got everything mild because I can’t handle spice (…it’s a working progress) I got the following; A) “palak paneer” - this is spinach with cubes of cottage cheese, 10/10 B) “dhal makhani” - lentils cooked in a thick and creamy sauce C) Garlic naan- this was SO soft D) “peshwari naan” - this is a SWEET naan, adored for my sweet tooth fiancé, I like more savoury so the garlic naan was my favourite E) Rice - clearly have used basmati rice, it’s cooked to perfection F) starter - sesame tofu - AMAZING, so CRISPY yet succulent, will be ordering this everyday G) drinks; “mango lassi” - lassi means a MILK based drink which is then flavoured with mango, or sugar (called sweet lassi) or flavoured with salt ( called salty lassi, very creative- unfortunately they don’t currently have salty lassi but the mango lassi was perfect.) As you can see from my description and the photos this isn’t your typical Indian takeaway. It goes without saying, I will definitely be back again! Finally, to the chefs and staff, thank you for adding this lovely restaurant to this beautiful community.

We’ve been meaning to try Kashi for a while now and decided to pop in over the weekend. I don’t usually write reviews but after our experience, I HAD to. We were welcomed in by a very friendly gentleman who was very patient with us as he gave us recommendations and answered all of our questions about the food as we don’t have Indian food often at all. We had the chicken lollipops, chicken/lamb kebab, saag aloo, kadai chicken, pilau rice, coconut naan. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by each dish and the portions were great - even though we were very hungry (and greedy), we still had leftovers for the next day. We will definitely be back again. Great customer service, great food!

First time visiting this restaurant and we was made to feel welcome straight away small and cosy and staff were very helpful. The chef even came out briefly and told us a little bit about there food and background which was lovely. Food was beautifully presented and the tastes of each dish stood out from each other we will be visiting again for sure.

Delicious spread. We are vegetarians and I don’t think I’ve seen more vegetarian options anywhere else. Each and every dish we ordered had a personality. Dining experience was not that great given the AC was not working and it was a hot day but good food made us forget all of that.

Very excited to discover last night, not only a new restaurant in Grove Park, but one with such amazing quality food and authentic flavours. Will definitely be back!

Excellent food & good atmosphere. We appreciate that the menu highlights which items contain gluten as my partner is coeliac. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be returning!

We have never had Indian cuisine like this! The food here is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t rate it highly enough.

The food is excellent; fresh ingredients, the meat was tender. No heavy oils or colourings. Good portions too. We really enjoyed our takeaway and will definitely order again. The best Indian food in grove park we ever had Highly recommended!!
