The Chinese Crepes here were so delicious. They were hot, tasty and fresh. They were full of flavour and had a great mix of textures. It's essentially a crepe mixed with an egg lining, with a delicious sweet/savoury sauce (tastes a bit like a plum sauce but not as sweet). Inside you get a Chinese dough stick (which is like a long rectangular savoury doughnut) and some crunchy fried pastry. You can also choose other extra like sausages, meat, etc. The stall gets very busy so be prepared to queue and it only takes cash so make sure you have cash beforehand.
We had Chinese crepe and steam buns.
This is one of the most underrated place, the crepe was awesome, probably one of the best street food item.
The chicken steam bun was not bad too.
There is no seating and you should bring cash.
I finally got to visit this infamous spot after seeing it on tiktok for months and it definitely did not disappoint. Everything seems to be made completely fresh to order as you can actually see them make your crepes, there’s also a wide variety of affordable options for fillings. I got the number 5 crepe which seemed to be the most recommended, it came with the sausage, the fried dough stick and some crispy bits and it was absolutely delicious- don’t let the £10 price tag scare you as it’s pretty big and I ended up being full from half of the crepe (I did finish it later and i can vouch that it still tastes good cold). The only complaint I would have is the fact that this is a hole in the wall place which obviously means there’s no seating areas so on busy days in Chinatown, you will struggle to eat this comfortably and there is also a slight confusion with customers on who is meant to order next but this definitely doesn’t take away from the experience. I 100% recommend trying one of the crepes here if you are ever in Chinatown!!
I ordered the Savoury Chinese Crepe #1. It has 2 eggs, 1 stick and 1 crisps with spicy sauce for £6. It was phenomenal. It is comparable to Pleasant Lady’s Jian Bing but is cheaper. It is fresh and the spicy sauce is just right not very spicy actually but very flavourful. I will definitely come back. Btw, REMINDER: they only take cash. So be aware of this before queuing. The guy was also very nice for allowing me to take a video of him while making the crepe.
I popped in for some quick bites while exploring Chinatown. I got an egg crepe mixed with coriander and stuffed with dough stick; it was amazing. Don’t forget to bring cash
Got the pork belly pancake, absolutely crunchy and juicy, especially with egg and spring onions. Very delicious.
If you want to opt for a light meal, this is a great place to go if you want food from Chinatown, but don’t want something heavy.
I had their Chinese crepe and one of my friend’s Takoyaki balls. Both were an amazing delight.
Only downside is that they only accept cash. Cheap and simple snacks that can also be considered as a meal. Will come back here.
I had my first Chinese crepe here today and it was a good impulsive decision. So tasty and the most interesting new thing I've eaten in a while. Definitely coming back.
Felt like pretty good value for £6 and other stuff on the menu is similar.
Sadly it's cash only.
One stop shop for a delicious snack on the go. It's got character and oodles of authentic Chinese and Hong Kong street food to choose from. Plus there are veggie options. Word of caution, bring cash.
The bubble waffle is so tasty! We also had a vegetable bun - it's so fluffy and delicious!
The owner is so lovely and friendly!
FYI; cash payment only!
Love visiting here! Perfect takeaway for days exploring London, or nights out in central. I love the pork buns, but there are so many great options. There is always a cue but moves super fast.
The buns are quite good and big portions for the price. The vegetarian options for crepes were limited and lacking much flavour except egg. The server seems quite unfriendly.
We passed by and bought one bao of each flavour, all decent so we left happy. We were lucky we had cash.
Saw this crepe (Chinese crepe number one on the menu) on tiktok, thought I’d try as it was recommended… was amazing.
Quite a queue of people which is always a good thing so I stopped and had 2 x pork buns which my Chinese wife said were very good. Mine had a long black hair in it but the icing on the cake was as soo as I received my bun the Chinese chap hacked up the loudest throat full phlem and spat it into the sink behind him.
That, alone, means "never again".
