L'Ulivo on The Strand is exceptional! The pollo alla milanese was perfect, the pasta al sugo took me back to my grandma's kitchen, and the dessert was divine. Service and location are spot on. A five-star experience!
Found this little gem as we were wanting something light. We were not disappointed, greeted by a very friendly Lady who gave us time to look over the outside menu. Once inside it was lovely, a few other patrons but not crowded. We were given plenty of time to look at the menus.
The soup was divine, our 2nd starter was the goats cheese and bruschetta absolutely delicious. We picked a pizza to share, it was a good size, looked pleasing to the eye, hot and very well presented.We were left with our food, but the staff were never far-away if we needed.
The atmosphere was inviting the staff very friendly. Cost wise it was very agreeable for the quality and quantity of the food.
So very happy we found this lovely restaurant among the big names.

Lovely restaurant, close to most of the Theatre's, all the food cooked fresh so allow plenty of time, staff very polite and helpful, does get very busy from 5pm till 8pm so booked in advance, we also used The Fork app which gave 50% off food bill.

My friends and I ordered the king prawn starter which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the mussels in cream sauce which was a nice big portion. The seafood risotto was exceptional. I ordered the salmon and the slice of salmon was huge, very tasty with a creamy dill sauce and proper home made mash and we ordered a bowl of spinach which was very nicely prepared. I hope to come here again for the seafood, it was beautifully cooked and the staff were lovely. See you soon L'ulivo team! And thankyou!
Had a lovely dinner there tonight. The lasagna with bolognese sauce was delicious and the salad very well balance with cheese, lettuce, apples & pumpkin seeds. Bring Italian, I’m pretty picky about my sauce. They did a great job!
Christian is an absolute legend, he looked after us really well an provided absolute amazing service! He is the best service person there, we met Christian earlier in the day when planning our dinner. He made us feel super welcome and we ended up back at l’ulivo strand for dinner. We where highly satisfied with this choice and throughly enjoyed our meal and time In This restaurant. If you are looking for unreal service and food then visit L’ulivo and ask for Christian

I love this place!! My brother is autistic and was having a meltdown so I came in for some very quick takeaway, and they assured me it would be ready in about 4-5 minutes. It actually took about 10 but that’s still very quick.
The staff were super nice, I was greeted warmly and they let me chill at a table while I waited. When they brought out my food, the person I believe is the manager assured me he looked through the bag and made sure everything was correct. It was!
I am staying about 45-60 minutes from the restaurant and I was wondering how I would plan to heat it up when we got home BUT they package food like the Asian Restaurants where it’s still piping hot when you’re home. Wonderful!
I am vegan and they had MAGNIFICENT vegan options. I had the vegan gnocchi and it was incredible, I inhaled the whole thing. I also had the vegan chocolate tart for dessert and oH my GOD I am 100% convinced it was the absolute best thing I ever tasted. I called my whole family omnivorous into the kitchen (including my autistic little brother) and they all agreed it was fantastic!! SO rich!!
Upon leaving, the manager asked all four of us to come back again for a sit-down meal soon. We just might do that today!! Great place!
Turned up on spec before visiting Savoy theatre. Didn't have a booking, staff couldn't have been more accommodating! For the first time that weekend it was a restaurant that didn't pre add the tip. Weirdly made us want to pay more! Great meal. Highly reccommend.
A great Italian restaurant, we prebooked a table for six people for an early evening meal. Lovely atmosphere, busy but not over crowded. Staff friendly and drinks were quick to arrive while we pondered the menu. I had the bruscetta followed by spinach and ricotta tortellini, absolutely delicious 😋 The rest of the party enjoyed their dishes. We were able to stay at our table and finish off with leisurely coffee ☕️ A great find on our visit to London.
I was there with my friends. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are very kind. Very good food and cocktails. Five stars for Sabrina, Larisa and Nimmi!
Thanks L’ulivo, I had a wonderful service with my aunt, we were late after the theater no booking and it was thanks to Christian, I guess the owner or manager... thanks to him, the chefs and waitresses served us and they also gave us garlic bread as a gift.

Great wine selection, fantastic service, awesome pasta dishes. Ask for chef’s special and you won’t go wrong. A restaurant in london that feels like a family run restaurant in an Italian village.
All time fav restaurant, very delicious and the staff are super friendly, we had 4 main dishes 3 appetizers and 4 drinks. And it cost us around 140£
