What a great experience we had a Sadaf’s! After reading other reviews and only in London for a few days from Australia we were the typical tourists. I trusted the reviews and they were right! The staff were lovely and explained some of the food we ordered and the condiments on the table. Very patient as I’m sure I sounded like an idiot! 😂 My starter of finely chopped mixed salad and naan bread was delicious with the main of spicy lamb, and the best rice I’ve ever had, made me want to come back again. The restaurant became busier and people were having a good time all round so obviously this is a well liked restaurant in the area. Thank you for a great night out with my son.

I'll make this brief. Food = slaps harder than my dad Service = one guy ruins it for the rest. Both culturally and in standards. The owner is a legend, though. Atmosphere = among the best in London.

Would recommend the Sadaf Momtaz, naan and sharing appetizer. The chicken and lamb were just wonderfully cooked. The naan is made fresh and cooked to order. Love that you get to try a little of everything with the sharing appetizer and each of them were tasty. Great portion sizes for sure! This place gets pretty busy during dinner so you might feel a little rushed to finish your meal. Also they don’t serve tap water. Great food spot otherwise!

Great Persian restaurant near the Queensway and Royal Oak tube stations. Had lamb kabobs and naan. Both came out very fresh and hot to the table and tasted amazing. Awesome aesthetic and great place to come with a group of people. Overall enjoyable dining experience.

Absolute gem of a find. Delicious food, huge portions, reasonably priced. Awesome service and ambience. I read other reviews before going and they did not exaggerate: even their recommendations are spot on. We tried both the normal naan and special naan. Definitely go for the special. Hummus was good. We had the spicy kubideh with rice (it was spicy 🌶️ for western palate, I’d say) and the weekend special - baghali polo (lamb shank on bed of dill rice) - which was nothing short of a revelation. Mint tea was good too. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others. Update 18 March 2023: tried the Jujeh Kabab Bakhtiari and Sadaf Mumtaz. Both totally recommended too. 10 April 2023: mixed grill for two (probably better described for FOUR 😆). Absolutely no complaints. I dislike lamb as a rule but I could’ve finished all five lamb chops if I had space in my tummy! Seriously good stuff.

Very good food, full of flavour and good portion sizes. The overall vibe of the restaurant is amazing and I love the Iranian decorations and ornaments. The service was a bit meh unfortunately. With the waiters barely making eye contact and no-one at the door to welcome you aside from the man making bread who didn't take an interest in seating us.

Lovely Persian restaurant in Paddington which is a 10 minute walk from the station. Prices were very good for the food, I was genuinely shocked. The food was so delicious, both the lamb and the chicken were very juicy and tasty. Food: Baby chicken (spicy) with rice, Cubed chicken and Lamb minced kebab with rice. Staff were very friendly and polite, which helped me set up a last minute birthday surprise for someone special. The ambience inside is very warm and comfortable with the dimmed lights. I will definitely visit again!

Delicious! I was overwhelmed so went with the options recommended by the server- an eggplant dip and lamb stew. Both were flavourful and delicious. The naan was MASSIVE but so soft and fresh. Wonderful experience.

‏Saber-veda and Fatma were really the best, serving everyone with a bright smile. The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered Shishtawoog and kebab .I enjoyed every single bite.prices are considered reasonable. Menu is extensive. I will come back again.

Hands down the best restaurant quality Persian food I've ever had (saying a lot since my wife is Persian). We both went on a Saturday night. It was packed but we only had to wait 5-10 mins. The staff were professional, had good humour and attentive. We ordered 3 mains: spicy kubideh with naan, khoresh bademjan, and khoresh ghormeh sabzi and shared. The meat was juicy and fall-apart (difficult to acomplish) the sour flavours were blended perfectly (also difficult) and the fresh baked naan was the icing on the cake. We both ordered non-alcoholic drinks and the bill came to £52 gratuity included. One of the cheaper Persian restaurants and definitely the tastiest we've found.
