A delicious summer lunch with friendly service on the airy plant-filled spacious terrace at Toklas today. A very useful and tranquil hidden away restaurant just off the Strand. Recommended.

Atmosphere during summer nights is amazing. If weather permits, I highly recommend grabbing a seat on the very generous terrace.
Maybe the kitchen was a bit short-staffed at the time but mains took a while to get to us, though they did apologise with complimentary sorbet.
