I totally recommend Rika Moon to everyone! For casual lunch as well as for occasional dinner, as I’m sure you’ll be thrilled by the food quality, drinks and atmosphere! The staff was incredibly helpful, their recommendations were great and we have had an amazing time there! We will definitely come back, as this is one of the best restaurants in London.
First time here, a friend of mine managed to get a deal for a discount on the food, which was good, I found the food fairly average tbh, tasty but nothing special, they have an upstairs & a downstairs & we were seated downstairs, I found the service a little slow, I'm aware the food is cooked to order, but again, more attention to detail is the key. The downstairs loo, (just the 1 & is unisex), is unusual to say the least, however, it creates a talking point..would I go back & pay full price, sorry but nope !
We had the best time at Rika Moon celebrating our friend who is getting married. The best service by far, delicious food, and superb atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Special thanks to Alex for the help and hospitality.
A wonderful restaurant with great vibes. A1 hosting by Alex and our waitress Sunniza who was so lovely and attentive - thank you. Great cocktails. Only con would be portions being on the smaller side and the mochi being store bought not made in house. Will definitely return
We came here on a Sunday for lunch. Only the upstairs was open which formed about 5 tables inside and a few tables outside. There are more seats downstairs but they were not used- it was quite a tight fit. We got the miso soup and chicken teriyaki bun to start. Both were really good, full of flavour. We got the scallop nigiri and yellowtail kingfish nigiri which were both excellent but rather small. We also got the softshell crab maki which was nice but needed something more. The vegetable tempura was also lovely. We got the prawn bimibap (referred to as prawn gohan) which was lovely and a great portion. Our total bill came to about £60 with our discount. The price point without the discount is quite expensive for what you get- nigiri at £14, maki at £20 and buns at £16 is quite a lot. Mocktails are also £13 each which is quite expensive considering no alcohol is involved. Great ambience, good service, the downstairs bathroom has a disco button which is nice. Decor is also pretty. Location is good.
This would be my new favourite place for an intimate date night. The food was incredible and so was the service. Would give a solid 10/10. They also have a disco toilet downstairs which is a fun little touch to their already amazing restaurant. Top tier atmosphere, nice music and the loveliest staff. They serve the highest quality food and No mediocre dishes. We went quite late on a Saturday so didn’t order a lot. But that only means one thing that I will be returning very soon to experience the whole menu. Highly highly rate & recommend Rika moon. You won’t be disappointed 😃💃 x
First time London, off plane, visited Kensington, great place, nice people, booked Rika for lunch. Situation @ the tip of a corner, pointed flowery glass door and a nice bar made entrance welcoming. Bottle of S. France Sauvignon blanc settled us down then moved to menu. Mainly Japanese cuisine, salad. rock prawn tempura, prawn & salmon rolls, sushi, sushimi…. ordered, delightful! All dishes tasted great, prawn roll wrapped with crispy twist, hamachi sashimi with truffles yum👍 services were friendly with great smiles, a lovely impression of downtown London🥂🥂
I had the best time at your restaurant /bar while visiting London. The servers are perfect. Cocktails are definitely amazing. Ambiance is fantastic. My photo doesn’t do your establishment justice but it is the only one I can find without someone to edit.
We came early on a Thursday evening with only a few people in the restaurant, so more waitors than guests, but relaxed and super friendly. We ordered their Bento Boxes and the A5 steak with mochi for dessert. Great Food and great value for money offering. Their none alcoholic cocktails were superb.
We went there yesterday, the staff was really good with the food recommendations.
The food was delicious and looked amazing on the plates, we had sushi which was top notch . Also we’ve ordered some amazing cocktails
Highly recommend this place to visit if you are in Nothing Hill
