A cozy place for pizza. The sour dough of the pizza base is crispy and chewy. The Halloumi Fries is the best finger food in its class, although the House Salad is a bit small portion, but it’s only £4.5. Reasonably priced, with excellent home feel service and top tier food.

Was in the area with my brother and wanted something to eat and we spotted salt, nice staff, the location is easy to find, parking was underground for under £5 I think. The menu is small but it’s quality over quantity. The set up is cool and very well lit, would have like a high chair for my brother Week done guy See you soon

Spent a pleasant early September Saturday evening here as party of four after Charlton football match (they won!). Brewery restaurant in the old Woolwich arsenal site. Seating at ground and first floor levels and lots of tables arrayed in line outside as well, perfect for catching the dying sun in late summer, sheltered from wind by surrounding buildings. Lots of good beers and perfect pizza. Friendly, hard-working staff taking orders, cooking and running around delivering to tables. Not cheap but nothing is these days. Fine for kids. Easy disabled access except to first floor level. Recommended.

Very nice little craft beer stop near the station. Not the biggest bar inside but some seating outside that will be an absolute sun trap in the summer. Great range of Salt beers on tap but also guest beers.

Lovely service from smiling staff Food - good and fast and takeaway boxes for leftover available. Chicken wings are not hot as a heads up. Pizza is good and well stretched Drinks - lots of good advice and decent beer but missing traditional lager Other - small with outdoor space, shame no heated outdoor space with umbrellas so when it rains significantly decrease capacity Service - lovely smiling and helpful staff

Pizza was great, nice selection of drinks but BBQ chicken wings had a strong vinegar taste. Perhaps I just didn't like the sauce

Brett was outstanding, helpful, knowledged in the food and cooking prep. It’s a really lovely pub, good selection of drinks, well priced Prosecco and pizza.. but today it’s the chips that are the winner!! No where close does actual fresh potato chips, and £2 at least less then anywhere close. Lots of dips and napkins (sadly not a given at dial arch or guardhouse) So let’s slide those away and just come to Salt!! The only reason we visited anywhere else is because we were eagerly awaiting Salt to open! 😄

Best pizza in the area, and great beer to boot (also not bad cocktails!). Also the fries are to die for - without fail we always order some, even though we don’t have room for them on top of pizza. We’ve lived in the area for 9 years and knew this place when it was the Taproom - it was good then, but it’s got even better. I like the fact they keep their menu refreshed. The food could in the past be a bit hit or miss, but it’s not like that since SALT took over. You usually need to book a table, especially when the weather isn’t good enough for them to serve outside, as it’s extremely popular. Also, expect (again due to its popularity) to wait about 40 mins for food - it’s worth it though.
