Went there with my partner to celebrate my "employee of the month" award. Best decision ever! We loved the vibe of the pub. Staff members were very friendly and smiley. The manager Nick is such a cool guy, funny and very attentive. He made sure we were enjoying ourselves. He suggested the steak from the menu, which was again - the best decision! Amazing steak with chimichurri and pomegranate. Overall we had an amazing evening. Definitely we will be back soon. If i could I would give this place 10 stars!

šŸš‡Ā Elephant & Castle šŸŗĀ Ā£5.40 Pravha ā¤ļø A welcoming modern and stylish pub. . The Rosy Hue is located in a redeveloped part of Elephant & Castle just opposite the small oasis of Elephant park. The nearest Tube is Elephant & Castle which is a five minute walk away. . This pub opened its doors in September last year and is part of the @livelyhoodlondon stable of pubs. The Rosy Hue takes its name from the rosy-cheeked patrons of ā€˜Penny Gaffsā€™, a type of theatre Elephant & Castle was once famous for. . The decor here is modern, stylish, bright and airy which makes for a pleasant environment to settle in to. On the right is a dining area with an open kitchen, on the left is the main bar with an angled servery surrounded by stools. This pub mixes traditional craftsmanship and industrial chic very well, there are some nice features to admire here. If you fancy a beer in the sun or dining alfresco, there are tables out front overlooking the park. . The beer selection is excellent and supports independent local London breweries. As well as offering local brews, there are a few continental favourites including Guinness. I decided on a pint of Pravha, my pint was enjoyable and pleasingly under six quid. The food menu is all about British seasonal food which is locally sourced & sustainable produce, Fish & Chips costs Ā£16. . I arrived mid-afternoon and there was a nice buzz about the place. This pub shows live sport on the three screens around the main bar, I managed to catch the end of the Bournemouth v Liverpool game and some Six Nations rugby. I must mention the bar staff here who were welcoming, friendly and were having lots of banter, it makes such a difference to visiting a pub if the staff enjoy what they do. . Itā€™s always great to see a new pub opening in these tough days for the licensed trade. @therosyhuepub is a fine example of the modern day pub. The main bar felt like a wet-lead pub and there is a place set aside for dining. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming and all set in impressive surroundings. This is a good pub for all occasions, definitely worth a visit. . ā„¹ļø Info correct on visiting 11.03.23

Very nice pub with great food options. We were there on a Sunday and they were serving Sunday roast. The service is not the fastest, but this place is still worth a visit.

We originally came here just for an after work drink but the menu was so enticing we couldnā€™t help ourselvesā€¦ we have no regrets. The food was amazing. I ordered the sausages and mash and I can honestly say it was up there with the best Iā€™ve ever had. From the quality of the sausages to the thick creaminess of the mash everything was perfect. The onion gravy was packed with flavour and really enhanced the whole dish. My boyfriend selected the fish and chips and once again it was great. Flakey haddock encased in a beautifully light, crispy batter was accompanied by thick cut chips and a nicely acidic tartar sauce to cut through the overall richness. The service was good throughout the meal and the whole establishment had a clean, chique vibe. A new find for us but weā€™ll certainly be telling everyone to come here!

Great atmosphere, they have both a more pub like area with sports screens and a brunch style setting as well. The vegetarian roast is fantastic, as is the Eton mess. We've slowly adopted them as our local pub. :)

Visited the Rosy Hue for the first time. Lovely quaint place with great service. Big shout out to Nick the manager - he goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed! Very friendly and nothing was too much for him. Heard he is the new manager too, thank you Nick, the place needs someone that has great customer skills like yourself - good job! Also big thanks to all the staff - very attentive, especially the barman (also named Nick, very funny and happy guy that makes you laugh). We will definitely be returning, Highly recommend this place! Also new menu will be out soon, which has more choices :) Had the sausage and mash when visited, very delicious and big portion size!

Very nice setting and exceptionally clean. Good service from staff who are super friendly and really quick! We came here for dinner & the only reason im giving a 4 and not a 5 star is the menu is fairly limited but none the less very very good! We ordered the chicken burger - which came with 2 chicken patties (always a plus), brioche bread and rosemary salted fries on the side. Good portion for the price. I would come back here & they are dog friendly!! Recommending!!

Went to watch the Rugby World Cup here & had a really great time! The atmosphere was great, drinks were cheap (compared to most London spots), the table they gave us was excellent, & the pub itself was lovely. A few people at my table commented on the staff being non-interested & not attentive, which I can agree with, however, I will give them the benefit of the doubt & assume itā€™s because it was busy. Will definitely recommend to others :)

Updated review: Great place for drinks not so much for food. My buttermilk chicken burger was very dry. Also the single piece of chicken was very small in relation to the bun. Rosemary chips were great Old review: Very nice new pub in Elephant Park. There are many screens to watch sports. They have craft and standard beers. There were not that many people in the day we visited but the place was quite noisy.

Full course in vegan options. On a Sunday I tried and recommend Vegetable Wellington + Chocolate churros. Menu with clear vegan labels (VG).

This is a nice pub, nice decor and a good selection of beers and wines. It has outdoor seating too. I haven't had the chance to try the food yet but I'm planning to in the near future. It's situated close to Elephant and Castle tube station; about 5 mins walk. I attach a few pics.

Love this place. Dog friendly and have excellent cocktail happy hour. My only comment would be sometimes the service is amazing and sometimes itā€™s like the staff donā€™t want to be there (although that is person specific). Overall though, big fan. The brisket fries are magical.

Been here a handful of times as my new local for brunch, dinner and drinks, and have enjoyed it so far. Initially there were some teething issues having only just opened recently, a few problems lingering a bit including limited options for cider drinkers (they run out of draught every week with few other ones available) and although the staff are nice, the service is often quite slow. However the food is good, and the atmosphere is great too.
