Around 4.5 star. For years I’ve been skeptical about its too convenient location (right in front of kings cross) and too Chinese decor (literally covered by bamboo) and I cook myself, but my Japanese friend recommended this place, so.. Sichuan beef shank is beautifully seasoned with aromatic chili oil, garlic, cilantro, and a little spiciness. Flavorful and not overwhelming. The layer of shredded cucumber is lovely (I was worried about skipping my veggies tonight). Dim sum platter. I agree with other comments that it can be better presented not only for the price but also for self-esteem. (Perhaps the dim sum and cold dish chefs have very different personalities and aesthetics (´・ω・`)) But they do taste better than their appearance. Siu Mai is filled with bouncy pork and shrimp and the dumplings are filled with juicy veggies (though not properly sealed— Fun guo style crystal skin is hard to work with ;) The Malaysian lady is really friendly and makes me feel at home. Pricy but the location is unbeatable. Might stop by again to get some simple hearty food and maybe some larger dishes ^^

A solid 4/5 restaurant. The atmosphere is quite nice and the food is good. The menu didn't have a vegetarian noodle soup but the restaurant didn't mind making me one.

Great value for money! Paid £13.40 for the Stewed Beef Soup full of meat, vegetables, noodles and broth. Very good location and nice atmosphere. Thank you very much! 🙂

This place is a truly hidden treasure 🤑. The food was amazing.., the only little problem was presentation of the Food. Me being a chef I have to say that because that's what I have noticed. Otherwise food tested amazing 👏 😋

Very very good choice for good Chinese food. The staff was friendly and helpful at all time. We are coming to price which is very good too and big portions... They got meal menu too. Thank you and I will come back for sure.

From the outside & looking across the road we were unsure. Very different inside with clean simple & refreshing decor. Service was efficient & advised 10 min delay with prep & cooking of fresh dumplings. Well worth it. They were sensational. A nice cold Tiger beer & a delightful beef & noodle dish. Also yum. Looking for a simple little lunch with my princess. This was well worth it. A little gem if you are anywhere near Kings Cross station London. And not over the top price wise. Will definitely go again.

I ordered the set meal with hot and sour soup, orange chicken, and egg fried rice. The best part is the egg fried rice, so flavorful! The hot and sour soup made me feel like drinking soy sauce and chili sauce. The orange chicken is crispy with plenty of vegetables. They charged a percentage of service asking for tap water, not sure if that’s normal? I’ve been in Wales for a week, never got changed for anything extra besides the price I see on the menu. This is my first day in London though.

Very nice Dan Dan noodles soup. Very spicy but very good. Kinda pricey overall but it's good.

I went to this restaurant the other day to try them out. I ordered some vegetable noodles, stear fried broccoli 🥦 wiht garlic and jasmine tea. Service was polite and respectful. The food came in reasonable timeframe. The portion was a bit on the small side but it tasted really good. The jasmine tea was ok, unfortunately the vegetable noodles did not win me over. All costed £22. A bit pricey for my taste.

Lovely simple bamboo decor aligned with the name of the store. Well portioned and tasty dishes. Did not try the sichuan section so can’t comment on the spice but the menu offered a warning stating it was very spicy. Walk ins are fine as it was pretty empty when we went. Tap water tasted slightly off though

Very reasonable prices, the duck fried rice was good but it could have used with a little bit of vegetables. The hot and sour soup was definitely spicy and good but a little too salty, just a little less sodium and it would have been good. Also has chicken inside which is nice

Nice, clean restaurant and toilets. Beautifully decorated with imaginative bamboo art throughout. The food is really tasty, plenty of choice and big portions. Quick service too. We loved the fish tank in the window. Thank you!
