Very friendly service and fabulous non-meat burgers. We tried a burger with a non-meat patty, tahini and mint. Just haooened to be strolling by and saw the fab looking burger on an advertising board outside. What we were served looked every bit as appetising, which is a rarity and the taste lived-up to the looks. When vegetarian burgers are this good the world just seems a better place.

First visit here, warm and friendly welcome!
We sat in booth, and the staff asked if it our visit.
She explained the specials and that orders are placed using the tablets on the tables. Pretty simple procedure.
We ordered the This is not Bob (Patty, B*con, ch*ese, sweet and sour pickles, homemade ketchup mustard, ranch sauce, lettuce tomato, onion) and the Primavera (patty, portabello mushroom, olives, m*zzerella, pesto, rocket, red onion, red wine matinata)
2 x air fried chips
1 x Ranch Slaw
The bottled water was complementary. Very tasty too, especially the sparkling one, loved it.
Paid just over £41 for two
It was enjoyable and quite tasty too.
Will spread the word about the plant based burgers.
Only disappointment was, the salted caramel milkshake wasn't available... Would have to wait a week for the ingredients delivery... Boo
There is a toilet on the ground floor but wheelchairs users might struggle to enter, it's quite narrow with saloon heavy doors.

We were strolling through Crouch End and came across this new place. First thing that I've noticed was the decor (love it) and then looking at the menu I didn't realized at first that it was all vegan (fast) food! So we didn't think twice and let me tell you.. I'm glad that we decided to give it a try. Best fast food that I've tasted in years! And if you like Kimchi.. I highly recommend the Kimchi fries with Miso mayonnaise 😁 Also I had the "Dopple" burger and my boyfriend the "This is not Bob" - DELICIOUS! Staff was super friendly and really helpful. We'll definitely go back again and take all my non veggie friends there!

Loved the atmosphere as soon as we arrived. The chef/team were amazing and attentive. Explained to us the menu and how everything works. Then the food just explodes in your mouth. Absolutely love it 😍

Fresh, tasty burgers in a friendly spot. Burgers choices are spot on, and the flavours are great. I've tried a few different vegan burgers, as well as continuing to eat meat ones too. These burgers don't have the heaviness of some other vegan options, and are freshly made with care to have all the juicieness, texture and taste of a meat burger if that's what you're used to. Very happy we gave Doppelganger a try!
These are the nicest vegan burgers I've eaten! They make their own sauces for them and they are generous in size. I sometimes order the Byron vegan burgers on Deliveroo, but these are so much better! I see that your Cambridge branch delivers, so hopefully soon.. The staff are lovely, and they have decorated in a quirky style:)
Really nice place with super friendly staff. It's all vegan, and you can order from a screen if you seat in one of the booths.
I had the Chirpy while my friend had the Primavera burger + quack fries. Decor is reminiscent of the 80s - But in a good way! - and price are reasonable. I will definitely go back. Only note of improvement maybe it the aeration system.
Brilliant! Had the basic Dopple (without bun because i wanted to really taste the patty)
Best meatfree patty I've had and possibly one of the best patty of any description I've had. Tastes much better than 'average' artisan beef patty.
Only downside is the price but i can see why it's expensive
PLANT BASED BURGERS LIKE NO OTHER BEFORE
Just been to the newly opened Crouch End Branch. I have had several plant-based burgers before but these ones were more wholesome (i.e used more real plants) than the cheaply processed burgers available elsewhere. The fact they used so many fresh ingredients makes it wholesome and you don't have the processed food feeling afterwards.
This company is trying to make a real difference to the world changing it habits of being hooked onto unhealthy processed burger food. We all really enjoyed the healthy 'Quack' and 'Jack' fries and will be back to try their smoothies and deserts.
It's true what they say PLANTS NOT JUNK food restaurant
Burgers are good, although Ubereats forced us to buy two for one each lol.
Had the Ends and the Hot Kimchi one and aside from the intense acidic taste from the tomato sauce, burgered we're good although the prices were a little extortionate got a takeaway.
If you fancy something more than your usual McDonald's veggie burger, go here.
Just don't buy the Pizza chips. The ratio of chips to olives and tomato/pesto was probably 1:1
I don’t think I have ever had a vegan burger that was this tasty before…having been a non-meat eater for so long I have no idea if this is a good approximation of a dirty burger or not, but my meat eating friends seemed very impressed.
Absolutely terrific! Came in for a shake and left in love (mostly with our charming server Roberto). Highly recommend.
Had a lovely plant-based takeaway from here: we tried the "Nottolenghi" and the Kimmi, and both were delicious. The former had aubergine, tahini and pomegranate seeds, the latter kimchi and miso mayo.
Looking forward to going back and dining in!
