The Holy Tavern - London - Photo album

Had been meaning to go to this place when it was called Jerusalem Tavern. Finally went and it has a new name. Fabulous ambience, old decor has been retained. We had the burger and fries which was surprisingly good - excellent in fact!
You can almost taste the history of the place (and I don't mean that the beer was off).. They have St Peters Beer on Tap which was great to see.. They also have a good range of other beers, Largers etc etc. We didn't try the food, but other people were saying that it was great.
Super cool ancient pub, nice and hidden with a small mezzanine. For fans of buildings in a distressed state. Good chips too
I don't know what they put in the burgers but whatever it is, mine was genuinely the best burger I've had in years. Nice, cosy atmosphere with the fireplace and unique decor. Beers rather expensive, but that's Central London for you.
Amazing place, steeped in history, like stepping back in time. Delicious fresh tasting beer, and the steak frites was excellent, as was the fish and chips. A really lovely atmosphere, stemming from the warm welcome the team behind the bar give everyone. I absolutely loved it and will be back soon. T

This building is abso

There is nothing bad to say about this pub. An old place full of history with a very friendly staff and a live fireplace. Definitely, not the last time I stepped inside this pub.
The two guys behind the bar this evening were absolutely fantastic. They made us feel really welcome and were extremely happy to keep the fire roaring for us. We will definitely be coming back again.
Until very recently this was the Jerusalem Tavern. Historic building and lovely interior. Had a great chat with the owner, Hendrik - lovely guy, doing an amazing job with this beautiful, small pub. Some different beers for the area, including St Peter’s Brewery (who leased the pub previously) and
