Reviews Chaii & Spice

We were really desperate for coffee and walked into the chai & spice in collindale. It was just our luck that their coffee machine was broken. Seeing our disappointment and about to continue our quest for coffee, the owner asked if we want to try their chai. We took the offer. It was likely the best chai we had in London. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Young and old groups drinking and playing a game. Definitely a nice change from the typical people sitting in coffee shops each staring into his own digital addiction. Even more surprising was the fact the owner refused payment for the drinks. Saying this was his way to introduce us to the place and community. This place deserves to prosper. There aren't that many places around at all. Many thanks for a new experience.

Went there late night for a little snack, The place is spotless, stylish and modern. Masala Chai was probably the best in London, the sweetness was perfect and the flavour was amazing. Came as a guest and left as family! They were extremely generous and positive! Will definitely be returning! Thank you Simran for the great service!

It is an amazing cafe with a unique concept. The idea of the cafe is to encourage the customers to spend quality time rather than one engaged with their respective phones. They have this concept of indoor game- a carrom board which can be enjoyed along with snacks and beverages. The staff is too gentle and friendly. The ambiance of the outlet brings one at comfort easily. It is a place i would recommend one should visit to spend quality time.

Arrival experience - really nicely decorated chai place which was buzzing with all kinds of age groups enjoying their favourite chai and/or snack. Lovely Asian style lighting hits you with a warm ambience that reminds you of a calm experience that awaits you. The mandatory Instagram swing also awaits you (though my friend and I didn't want to test it's weight limit!) +1 star Menu - lots of options such as your favourite Karak to Kashmiri style "pink tea". The tea selection is fantastic and delicious and the authentic flavours are all there and then some. +1 star. There are a few desi style snacks which I didn't try as I didn't want to risk the heartburn! What could be improved here was more sugar-free options for the 40+ visitors that need to watch their...eh..hem...sugar intake. -1 star for lack of sugar-free drink options. Customer service - the key differentiator to any chai joint now as there are so many quality ones in London is service standard and staff friendliness. These guys top the list on both fronts and the staff are ultra-relaxed, friendly and generous. I'll be returning here because of the service experience and will be introducing my family to this place in the near future. +2 stars Keep up the great work and I look forward to my next ☕ soon!

Staff are very friendly, food is amazing and it’s super clean! It’s also really vibe-y here especially how you can play with the carrom board directly on the table :) The decor is also super well thought out and the swing at the back is a very photogenic place! 💚

Fun place to meet up with friends, you can have a game of carrom with your karak chai while you wait for your delicious kebab roll (in paratha) and bun kebab to be done. The tea is sweet and sharp. The bun kebab is not meat, surprisingly, but vegetarian, though you can also get it wrapped in egg, but then it’s a little big for the bun, so it gets messy to eat, but worth it for the taste and texture. Friendly staff too! The roll is a seekh kebab, and we’ll recommend. Decent value too.

Most down to earth and friendliest owners ever. You have to try out the carrot cheesecake dessert. I stopped by for some breakfast a few weeks ago. I love the decor in this place. Be sure to check out the Selfie Swing.

I absolutely enjoyed this place. We got a free cup of chai masala as a taster and loved it. The food was lovely too but what made it the best was the service. This place has a very unique and beautiful aesthetic. I hope to try their beautiful dessert menu soon!!
