This is my little oasis in the madness of The Hacked Borough of Crackney. A fusion of flavours from the West Country, Malta and Poland – and that's just the staff! Lovely folks all of them. And the menu is refreshingly eclectic, featuring as it does, an intoxicating combination of fantastic wine list (I recommend the PicPoul), delicious cheese and cold meat plates, and truly inspired freshly-prepared dishes from the super talented young chef. Judy, the owner, is lovely and friendly and always ready to help. Solid free wi-fi and a little back garden for filthy smokers like me, makes this my go to venue when I fancy a quick flat white, a lingering lunchtime bite to eat, or an evening trolling tory MPs on Twitter whilst quaffing fine wine. Best of all – they still take cash, unlike so many of the newer, posher, more sterile businesses that are washing the area in a Tsunami of gentrification. 5/5 from me. Do I win a free meal for two and a bottle of something from Bulgaria?
A beautiful little space & outside area. I went for the spring tasting menu for my birthday, the food & service was incredible. Highly recommend!
Lovely little cosy cafe/restaurant with a secret small garden. Great customer service and friendly staff. Hot chocolate with oat milk is AMAZING. Do try it. I've tried a few dishes here, mainly pasta and it's delicious. They have a great drinks menu and they have WiFi too 😊
Excellent new wine bar and deli. Amazing wine and food! Perfect place to unwind. Lovely to see Cooper 🐶 whenever we come in… and of course Judy is a lovely too!
We have the cheese board and sardines to pair our red wine and it was all delicious. Very nice staff, clean site and lovely music.
An amazing addition to well street! Excellent food and service, great vibes inside and lovely garden space! Great through the day for coffee/brunch and dinner.
My partner and I are here on Friday evening. The food was fantastic - we had the prawns pil pil, padron peppers, risotto and the mackerel. All delicious. Good wine and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended
Really nice neighbourhood deli/restaurant/wine bar. We stumbled upon here on a weekday night very hungry. We were very pleasantly surprised. Had two pasta dishes to share and some starters, which were delicious and very affordable. I think this place would suit every occasion, random weekday stumble and celebrations. And although we didn’t sit in the garden, seemed it would be the perfect ambience for some wine and chilled afternoon.
Amazing deli and wine bar! Great food and excellent service. We really enjoy coming here to relax throughout the evening.
Judy is a prefect hoist and it was such a pleasure to stop by and have a cup of coffee and a chat. Really nice menu, great artisan products out on sale and a good selection of wine. All in all a perfect drop in for coffee or something to eat and or to grab some unique products to take home
