Visited this place recently for lunch. To my surprise, they gave us lentils soup, naan bread and Iraqi tea with baklava as complimentary and they were really good. We ordered grilled fish and falafel which were worth the quantity, quality and price. Our server was good too, he explained us everything about iraqi food.

Ya Hela is a restaurant in Kingsbury which is a bit far from central London and maybe because of that hardly people speak of this place. These people serve one of the most delicious and tender lamb. I order lamb quizi neck and was surprised with what things I was offered. The serving starts with a bowl of lentil soup for each person on the table with a huge naan bread (and both these are unlimited). Then you get salad, pickles, sour cream, hummus, 2 veggie stews, a huge potion of rice and a delicious, perfectly cooked lamb which just falls off the bone. I have tried many other dishes over here chicken, koftas etc which are equally good but their main course is such a wholesome and delicious meal. Also it is such great value for money! In the end you get complimentary black tea and baklava as well. For the lamb quizi neck I paid £15 and the images would speak for the description of food.

The smiling face with serving of warm soup is the perfect blend of the top rated customer service they giving to customers . We tried Chicken and lamb shawarma . They both were so tasty and good big portion that we have to do take away almost half of the food . Worth visiting this place . Very reasonable price .

Amazing value for money and food is really tasty. You receive lentil soup, houmus, yogurt, pickles and tandoori bread complimentary on the house when you order mains as well as complimentary tea after your meal. Service is friendly and fast. The tandoori flat bread is topped up through out your meal. I walked past after the restaurant had closed and was heart warmed to see the staff praying together. May there be increased barakah in their business.

We visited here on 18/03 and decided to dine in. First time we had tried this place and it did not fail. The service was amazing, they were fully attentive and food was ready and provided efficiently. The quality of the food was amazing. They offer a variety of dishes with unique tastes that leave you wanting more. Big portions and great value for money. We have since visited this place for takeaway and it has been the same, with high quality service and food. Definitely worth a visit and would always go back. The arabic sharawama is lovely! They gave extra starters for dining in. 2 arabic sharwama, 1 drink, salad, bread, pickled starters, lentil soup starter dips. 2 people 21.50 - amazing value for money. Went back for takeaway for 3 people and was £36 with a different variety of dishes.

Great Middle Eastern halal food for opening up our fasts in this holy month of Ramadan. Their mixed platter was super delicious, bread was very soft. Make sure to try and jelly with custard for dessert.

Very nice staff. Clean and presentable seating area. The bread here was amazing. The food here was good. I really enjoyed the starter soup. The main dishes however, look amazing. But i dont think they were good enough for me. The kofte was a bit dry for me personally, and the cooked lamb wasnt soft and tasty enough. Typical restaurant quality food and not the healthiest.

Nice restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. We went for dinner and we did not realise that the restaurant gives complimentary hummus, lentil soup, veggies and flatbread. The lamb quzi is amazing, especially with Okra and Tapsi stews! 😍 The portion is quite big so you can share the main dish between two people. Definitely recommended especially if you are with a group of friends or family members.
