Really high quality place. Great Japanese food with amazing service and atmosphere.
Some dishes had overpowering flavours and the rice was quite oily. Overall the food was good. I recommend the beef ribs.
The atmosphere was actually really great, there’s a lot of sound dampening furniture which makes it quite comfortable even when it’s busy.
I'd say it's more of a bar with Japanese inspired food rather than a Japanese restaurant. The food was fusion inspired with more high end options such as wagyu gyozas. The atmosphere is really vibrant with ornate decor all around. The bar area is substantial with separate seating. I'm giving 4 stars because the food was okay for the price and it's more so the atmosphere and the bar that I reckon would draw people in. Overall, an interesting restaurant to have drinks and a different snack but it might not be for everyone's taste.
Amazing experience - we had dinner at Aubrey and it has been a pleasure from the moment we entered the door.
The staff has been highly attentive and the sommelier took his time to recommend us a pairing of Sake with our food as well as providing some more information around Sake. The food was exquisite and very tasty.
Such a lovely place! So cozy, with a great interior, amazing food and friendly staff, highly recommended! We will definitely come back!
The food was excellent, rich flavours and great presentation👍🏻 the only criticism I have is that for a high end restaurant the behaviour of almost all waiters were a bit “laddish”😐so for me, the atmosphere came lower than expectations‼️
My girlfriend and I had our date night at the Aubrey, and it was quite delightful.
We had Edamame, the Wagyu Sando, their Signature Sushi Set, Lobster Fried Rice, the Mushroom Gyoza, Black Sesame Cheesecake, and the Chocolate and Sakura.
It was all really wonderful!
*One of the sushi pieces had crunchy ants on it!!
The service was amazing, and the bartender fixed amazing cocktails.
I would definitely return to the Aubrey!

It’s one of the many Japanese themed restaurants in the city with a classic menu of grilled food / robata / sushi and sashimi with a mix of rice and noodles combination…!
Tried the chicken / sushi and sashimi along with the bone marrow rice and duck mains.!
Everything was delicious but portions of sushi and sashimi were small and expensive compared to your usual restaurants and I guess that’s because it’s in Mandarin hotel.
Duck with sweet potato was really nice and so was bone marrow rice.
Service was excellent.
Wines are by glass and are on average £18 a glass of 125 mls … no half bottles on menu.

We dined at The Aubrey for the first time and were absolutely blown away. The Interiors, decor, service, food is just mind-blowing.
We have tried so many dishes from the menu and I must say that all the food that we have ordered was super delicious.
They have a great collection of wines and tasty classic/elegant cocktails.
The staff are very friendly and attentive they have made our experience so enjoyable.
Lovely and cosy environment accompanied by great music and what I love the most a variety of options in the menu.
I always like trying new places, but I will come back at some point.

We thought the bottomless brunch was a bit pricey, but in fact you get your money's worth. We were full at the end, and as long as you request quick drink replacements, the bottomless drinks are good value too. The Cape Cod is a good one from the list if you're into traditional sweetish cocktails.
What an experience. By far the best service we’ve had in London restaurant. Service was exceptional and the waiters were knowledgeable. All dishes were cooked to perfection. Cocktails were not the best in my opinion but this is just a personal taste. They were well made but didn’t hit the mark for me. Regardless everything else from the sashimi to deserts were worth the price

Reception and welcoming was very nice. The wine selection is amazing with good variety and help from the specialize person. The food was great in general but i liked the fried rice and the slowly cooked beef wagyu. I did not like the tomato salad.
The live DJ music was so nice and balanced in all means.

Wow, that restaurant you recommended was amazing! The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. I can't wait to go back again! Very friendly staff! Excellent food and made us all full. Very good vibe will defo come here again. Chicken karage was 10/10!! Would recommend this and worth the money!
Exquisite location, ambience and staff - from reception to the bar to our table. We were transported to another time and place. The food was decent but not mind-blowing, at least in the way we expected for the price. Our favourites included the Japanese prawn tempura and the Wagyu Gyoza. However, the Lobster fried rice although in good portion and texture, was missing that extra flavour. Worth a visit though

Gorgeous, chic restaurant, excellent cocktails and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Our server was so knowledgeable and took us on a fantastic culinary journey. I can’t recommend The Aubrey highly enough!
