Mother Mash Covent Garden - London - Photo album

Possibly found a new favourite place for comfort food in London. The pies are so tasty, fantastic crust and really great mash coming with it too. Good beers on the menu, and helpful and friendly staff as well. Decent options for vegans and vegetarians as well. The menu is perfectly planned out to ha
Loved the concept of choosing my own pie/sausage, mash & gravy combo. So many options & for a really reasonable price, especially in the heart of London. Service was great! Staff so friendly and helpful. Super cute. Gave me school dinner vibes, in a really lovely way.
The food is quite tasty and the staff was very nice. We were asked many times if we needed anything and overall they were very attentive. The place was a bit smelly but I suppose that’s just how it is and we got an unlucky day… In general I would recommend it as the pies were outstanding. The prices
A great little affordable restaurant in the heart of the tourist district. If you want unpretentious British food this is the place to go. Also lots of options for veggies. I went with pie & mash but will definitely be back to try the veggie sausages. Highly recommend

Excellent pies, with a choice of styles of mash, gravy and pie content. Staff are super friendly and will help you pick, but a good starting point is the traditional. Definitely a meal to try if you're in the Covent Garden area!
The food was delicious, you have a bit of everything and for every taste (meat, vegetarian, vegan…). You basically made your own plate. Our waiter was super nice and the atmosphere was great too.
Great little place for a lunch or dinner especially when you want to try out some Brittish classics as a tourist, but really, for everyone. Perfect and simple menu with choices of different mash, classic sausages or pies, and delicious gravy: make your own favourite combo! Lots of drinks and side di
