Been here for the first time tonight, and definitely won’t be the last. Amazing experience, food was amazing, service incredible and the place has a really nice atmosphere. Tomas made us feel super welcomed and comfortable, being Portuguese myself it felt like just being at home. Francesca always smiley and friendly, and Dyer too, who always explained how the dishes were prepared and where the food was coming from. Definitely a great team that knows exactly the meaning of hospitality. Recommend to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely phenomenal experience here. Food, service and decor were all absolutely stellar.
The food here is just amazing. It’s all small dishes but they all pack a punch. There wasn’t one dish that was lacking, all were fantastic and full of flavour.
The restaurant is large with two floors. The ground floor has seating at a counter that overlooks the kitchen. Upstairs has plenty of room and feels spacious and modern.
Highly recommend
Lisboeta: yet another addition to London’s already impressive range of small plates restaurants. To their credit, they do it really well! The highlight of the meal was the delicious (if exorbitantly priced) deep sea Carabineiro prawns (which came with a nice crunchy and thick flatbread), but I also really enjoyed the baccalhau and the pig fat custard. My only complaint about the food is the tiny portion sizes across the board. Beverage selection isn’t lacking either. Enjoyed the day’s special white wine and a martini with a twist. Service was exceptional, and all the staff were lovely and helpful.
A fun lunch at the bar. Beautiful small plates - mushroom acorda, scallop toast, bacalao & more. Shared olive oil cake was outstanding, with a drop of fizz. Best friendly staff. Will return soon.
Great food. All based around the grill on the ground floor. Smokey flavours compliment the Portuguese cuisine very well. The Pasteis de Nata are great too - they do their own spin on them.
An amazing atmosphere my favourite being the open kitchen you walk past and seeing the chef busy at work. A lovely take on some fab Portuguese dishes. Highly recommend the pork pies a firm favourite from our table and the seafood rice was delicious. The lighting inside isn’t great hence my photos being blurry.
Have been wanting to eat Nuno Gomez’ food for quite some time so jumped at the chance to go to Lisboeta. The squid and corn toast was delicious but also a little too “fun size.” The mains were really tasty as well with the cod a real stand out, again tiny portions though. The final course was a tale of two desserts, the meringue was light, zingy and tasty in all the right ways. The Pastel de Nata slice was pretty disappointing and dry, definitely not an improvement on a proper tart. I had to buy one the next day to get my fix. The food is really tasty but to expensive and tiny even by todays standards
as a Portuguese myself this was with no doubt one of the best Portuguese food spots. quality of the food is amazing. I recommend 110% you try the cod fish, was the best I ever tasted. we were two and payed 86£ in total.
Outstanding Portuguese fare in a cute and vibrant setting. Highly recommend the red prawn and rice main, the winter pumpkin, the confit cod and the sheep’s cheese. Our server was excellent and the wine was great. It’s definitely on the pricier side but mostly worth it. Will be back!
Just went here for lunch. Wow had an amazing experience. First of all the waiter was excellent and recommended the perfect amount of food for us four. The small plates were absolutely delicious with flavours I’ve never had before! Make sure to get the cod and mushrooms.
For our mains we had the market fish of the day which was monkfish and tasted amazing but a bit too much garlic for me. However the star of the day was the red rice and prawns - do not miss out on this one!
Lovely ambiance and wine menu. Will be coming back!!
Being Portuguese, I was a bit skeptical of the concept of small portions and modern renditions of our food - we were open minded and gave it a shot.
If you want a modern cuisine, artistical twist to Portuguese food, this restaurant is a jewel. The dishes were extremely high-quality and the portions were definitely sufficient (we ordered a selection for sharing including the Iberian pork plumas and seafood rice). Desserts were creative and very flavoursome, especially the bolo de bolacha.
Lastly, staff were attentive and funny, adding to the nice environment. Only downside were the rather dim lighting conditions but it wasn't a big deal at all.
My boyfriend and I had dinner last month to celebrate our anniversary. The portions are extremely small, so we had to order about 7/8 dishes to feel a bit full. The Arroz de Marisco was by far our favorite dish, the Sirloin was also very good (but tiny portion). The bacalhau was okay but nothing special and so was the dessert. The service was polite. Good overall, but below my expectations
Upscale Portuguese restaurant. We had a dinner on Saturday, booked in advance for upstairs seating where tables are. Staffs were kind and polite, prompt service throughout. Good foods overall, small plates stood out - cod dish and mushroom & egg yolk dish. Had a high expectation for Arroz de Marisco, which was nice enough however nothing exceptional. Interesting dessert menus, yet little too strong on the cinnamon note even for me who adores cinnamon. Given the price level (paid £70 per person) I wish food were more of ‘wow’. Apart from that, overall satisfied dinner under pleasant ambiance. Would be nice if more vegetarian menus offered. Might come back to try different dishes.
The perfect date night spot for our anniversary dinner! From our table, to the service, to the food - everything was stellar. My only complaint would have to be how far the toilets were (in the basement), but even then, the quality of the toilets was great.
Our table - we were seated on the upper floor right next to a window. It felt cosy and private even though there were plenty of other tables around us. Some tables were in direct line of where people were walking, so I'm so glad we had our own little nook near the window.
The service was so personable. Our waitress was so friendly. She gave us her favorites, and was just very sweet and kind. The sommelier also was knowledgeable, and kind. I can't stress how kind the servers are. They truly seem like they want you to have the best experience (and not just trying to break your bank by recommending the most expensive items like other restaurants).
The restaurant definitely deserves a spot on the Michelin Guide for their food. I LOVED their scallop starter. We also got a few other dishes, but the scallop was tasty, fresh, and well seasoned. As a main, we got the fish of the day - also well seasoned. We also had a small meat pie type starter, and a small plate of pork. Both I would highly recommend. To end, we had two glasses of their sherry to celebrate our anniversary!
I can't wait to come back and try even more dishes!
Came here for my boyfriends birthday last week and had the most incredible dinner! Everything we ordered was unreal with the mushrooms and seafood rice being a must. We were served by Andrei, Thomas and Connel (sorry if I misspell and names) who were so lovely and made our meal so fun and enjoyable. We even got a free dessert for the occasion. Can’t recommend it enough!
I enjoyed the food and the sparkling wine. The food was tasty and well cooked as I expected.
My only suggestion is... the service could improve a bit as it was not a cheap restaurant i was expecting more from the service. It was a bit slow I didn't get any stress I was in a nice mod but one item came after at least 25 minutes which was to much for 21:30pm on Wednesday after the rush time. To have an idea one girl from the staff asked me about my dessert. But is fine. I would go back.
