This place is a hidden gem. The sushi, dynamite shrimp and black cod were on par with the finest restaurants in London.

The food is great, but what really made our day was the service. The general manager Rolando is exceptional, he made us feel like we’re family. The waiter was also very nice, attentive and efficient. The restaurant is facing a pretty and lively street (but there aren’t many cars in it) so it’s nice

what can be improved: need to work on a thinner and softer bao bun. The taste of the bao was fingerlicking good otherwise. Also, mocktails can be better.

Rolando provides an experience to the dining. Yellow tail, Tuna sashimi pizza 🍕. Karobuta is a different take on japanese food, and provides an experience for Japanese dining. I have eaten in a variety of places, as you can see from my profile, but I feel relaxed to enjoy my food when I visit Kurobu
Absolutely incredible sushi, only surpassed by the excellent service from Rolando and the team. Can’t recommend highly enough!

My wife and I had a very warm welcome from Rolando as we entered his new restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing and unhurried. The food excellent. The best soft shell crab I can remember having in along time. We are local and will return.
Found this newly opened place by chance late one night when other places were closing and am recommending it to all our friends. We were warmly welcomed by manager (Rolando) who kept the kitchen open while we ordered. The food was really great (chicken terriyaki and shrimp and vegetable tempura) -
We came when it was really quiet (heat wave) but food and service were still on point. The menu is a bit more eclectic than the regular Japanese owned sushi restaurant.
Honestly the best Asian food I’ve ever had. The decor of the place is wonderful and amazing customer service. The restaurant manager Rolando is a great and lovely man, I would recommend this place as it has everything I could ask for.
Gorgeous food! Friendly staff. The garlic prawns and chicken skewers are a must! The sushi is fantastic! Yummy!
