Dinner here was wonderful! Fancy but yet not over the top. We all loved the shellfish tower! Excellent oysters! One tower was plenty for 3 people as our 4th person isn't a seafood person and stuck to bread. Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked and fabulous! I ordered the fish special of the day and cannot for the life of me remember.what it was but it was excellent. Absolutely perfect sear on the top!

Sadly I had to take a vegan with me to a fish restaurant. Be advised that if you don't like humus you'll be unhappy with the menu. I had expected spectacular food but didn't find it any different to lots of other places . I think little bubbles of pea, and carrot flavour on the plate are a bit old hat now and definitely not filling. I ordered chips to go with a meal that wasn't very substantial. I don't mean I wanted my plate groaning with food but I had expected at little more imagination. Pudding was two scoops of vanilla ice cream. The vegan starter was a few pieces of carrot, radish, beetroot, and a hummus dip

First time at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant: everything was excellent from start to finish. The food was top notch, from the appetizers to the dessert. I should note a little mistake was made with our sides but that was corrected immediately. The fries are absolutely a must order.

We tried out the set lunch menu at £45ph although we added extras to this, sourdough bread, mash and green beans. Good value? 3 course lunch at the Savoy, yes absolutely. Only 2 things I'd mention, we ordered bread and cocktails on being seated, before we'd had 2 sips of drinks & a couple of bites of bread, the starters arrived ! They were both cold starters, so we were able to leave them aside while we finished the bread & cocktails. Secondly, as in the Savoy Grill, the mash potato was luke warm. This was sorted immediately with no fuss. It might be me being picky, but I do like really steaming mash ! We asked them to slow down on the service and after that we were able to take our time & relax over our meal. As we were celebrating, we did have a very lovely bottle of white CN de Pape. The meal itself was faultless and delicious. The service, as always perfect, friendly and welcoming. Great venue to go to have a mains off the a la carte with a glass of wine for a quick lunch. We then had drinks in my all time favourite American Bar, although my Espresso Martini was too bitter for my taste. All in all FANTASTIC ! Looking forward to a speedy return. Recommendation - HIGHLY !

Our evening at River Restaurant by Gordon Ramsay last night was an exquisite experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance captivated us with its elegant yet cosy atmosphere. The culinary journey was a symphony of flavours, expertly crafted and presented with artistic flair. The dishes, a perfect blend of innovation and tradition, left a lasting impression on our palates. Impeccable service added to the pleasure, with the staff's knowledge and attentiveness enhancing the overall enjoyment. The service was impeccable, striking the right balance between attentiveness and privacy. From the ambiance to the cuisine, every aspect surpassed our expectations. Undoubtedly, an unforgettable dining affair that reaffirms chef's culinary prowess. River Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and definitely a lovely spot on London culinary map.

Had a wonderful lunch with my Mum on my birthday. Servers were so nice, especially Julian and Cameron; we appreciated their kindness. The food was great, I had Monkfish Curry with saffron rice and the Beef Wellington. Had the sticky toffee pudding and the mango sorbet for dessert. Waiter bought out a Chocolate and salted caramel tart for me with Happy birthday on the plate. Thank you all.

Top marks on this Savoy hotel restaurant. The beef wellington was great. The service is very good and you are greeted by every staff member with a smile and welcome.

It was our first time at the Savoy . We booked as a celebration for one of our friends . Unfortunately this was not acknowledged at all by any of the staff. Anyway that aside the place was fantastic . The food was amazing although I've had better and bigger mussels from my local supermarket and would have expected better given we were eating at the river restaurant. The sauce on the mussels was beautiful but let down by the main element of the dish . The treacle cured pork chop was out of this world . Pricey but that's what you pay for the experience . Would I go back ? Possibly not . I hope to visit the Grill soon so hope that meets my expectations.

Good food in a beautiful place. The mashed potatoes is incredible. The rosbife was a little bit strong for me in the mushroom section, but I could remove that layer and eat the rest. 😊

Wow what a Restaurant! The food is of such high quality, perfect Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding. If you book make sure you will sit inside and not close to a window, as this area is not comparable to the atmosphere of the main River Restaurant. Well done to the Team!!
