A top tier establishment and meal. The staff were outstanding, very attentive. They were very understanding and careful with a nut allergy which is always appreciated. The wine selection is delightful. Setting is charming and very snug for a winter roast. Food was also exceptional. I really appreciate the charity and sustainability efforts made too.

When my sister came to visit me in London, we decided to try the roast dinner at a recommended pub. Despite a longer-than-expected wait due to their busyness, we understood. The staff, who seemed to be the owner or manager, informed us that they had run out of pork meat and were cooking a fresh batch just for my sister, which further extended our wait. I didn't complain, as it was a reasonable delay. The staff kindly apologized and offered us some bread, which we gratefully accepted, given our hunger. We finally received our meals around 9 pm. To our surprise, when I asked for the bill, we were only charged for drinks, not the food. I insisted on paying for the food, but they refused, so we left a generous tip. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making our roast dinner experience enjoyable. My sister loved the food, and I'll definitely recommend this place to others and plan to return soon.

Brilliant roast! Loved the potatoes, the cauliflower mash and generous serving of gravy that accompanied the beef and lamb roasts. Really loved the sticky toffee pudding that came with a generous serving of toffee sauce. Service could be improved as it didn’t seem overly busy in our area but we had to flag the servers down multiple times.

Oh my God, I don't even know where to begin. The BEST Sunday roast I've ever had. Everything, from the meat to the gravy and roasted veggies was fantastic. The sticky toffee pudding is the perfect way to end a perfect meal. Cannot wait to go back!!

Delicious food, great wine list and exceptional customer service! A really nice atmosphere inside and I enjoyed learning about the business’ sustainable practices through its farming and sourcing methods via the little details on the menu. Staff were knowledgeable and took the time to discuss the wine menu and offer samples and recommendations. Overall a really enjoyable experience.

Been here a couple of times now, and my visit today compelled me to leave a review. The daily rotating menu means there's always something new to try, and Maisie our waitress was very knowledgeable and recommended just the right thing. The panchet was so good and massive portions too! The pub is such a nice place to relax and have a delicious meal! Overall 5 star all round.

Incredible pub, probably more value for money than the other overhyped pubs in the clapham common area. Sirloin steak was class and the beef fat chicken salt fries were delicious. Buttermilk fried chicken was super tasty would recommend as a starter. Will be back here again.

Loved our experience here. The space is beautiful and the food is so well presented and delicious! We had the chicken pie to share, the charcuterie, and the steak with beef dripping chips! Can’t wait to return.

Really excellent. Attentive service. Thoughtful menus, and the execution was spot on. We thought the venison was brilliant (don’t let medium rare scare you) and the chicken was very nice (just a bit over salted on the sauce however). I was surprised to see a French Malbec, which was one of the best reds I’ve had in a while. We’re now regulars.

Let's get this out of the way: this was by far the best Sunday roast I've had in London and probably in the Uk too. The Pig's head is a lovely gastropub tucked away in Clapham Old Town. The atmosphere is cosy yet buzzing with the room filled with chatter and laughter. The food is absolutely top-notch: the fried chicken starter is out of this world. The Sunday roast we ordered - Beef brisket and bone marrow to share - was heavenly. You can tell it's going to be a great roast just by looking at the thickness of the gravy and the outer layer of the roast potatoes. Service was good although we had to call the waiters a couple of times for different reasons as they'd forgotten; they were really busy so not a biggie. We also got a bottle of Italian red wine and a round of cocktails and ended up paying around £60 each which to me is great value for money for such great food and location. I will be back!

Amazing place, so glad to have found it. Very cosy, staff very friendly and great at service (quite rare nowadays in London), food was very nice and at a very good price. Will come back for sure.

The best roast dinner I've ever had at a restaurant. Cannot recommend it enough! It's totally worth the extra few pounds to be miles better than any others in the area. Also had the sticky toffee pudding which was yummy.
