Got the best one and I have no idea if it is really the best since I didn't try the rest, but it was certainly great!
Nice soft bread, smoky pulled pork, and plenty of slaw and sauces to keep it interesting. The pork crackling is worth the extra pound because it is actually crispy!
Definitely recommend.
The honey truffle Parmesan pork may be my favourite sandwich in the world. These guys know how to make a sandwich! They also have a great location on Borough Market and are close to the bleacher seating. Highly recommend!
A must try at Borough Market. "The Best One" sandwich is a must try. It's really delicious. Waiting line moves super fast and stuff is very friendly.
Truffle mayo sandwich was delectable and HUGE. Super generous with the pulled pork fillings, slaw and shaved parmesan. Also pleasantly surprised to find that the focaccia was well made and really soft. The queue looks long but moves fast. Def worth a try!
Well deserved reputation. So, don't be put off by the size of the queue, they have a great production line here with a simple range of about 5 sandwiches - all which are amazing
One of my favourite sandwich shops. The honey truffle parmesan sandwich is next level. The slow roasted pork pairs perfectly with the tangy fennel slaw, and the honey truffle aioli signature sauce pulls it all together. Highly recommend trying a sandwich if you’re in Borough Market.
Absolutely worth the long queues! Huge sandwich, recommend sharing between two and trying some of the other delights of borough market. Can’t wait to go back for another of ‘the best one’
You can't go wrong with slow-cooked meat in a thin type of focaccia that is quick to toast and retains juices without crumbling easily. Flavour is balanced but not mind-blowing, slaw is excessive and scamorza's saltiness gets lost.
At £11 it's recommended, definitely better than tinier and overrated Shuk's pita pockets nearby
Found this place on Instagram. You can spot it by a very long queue in the front.
We were worried it would just be another IG hype, but they were really good and we were blown away.
The long queue moved very quickly. We all ordered “The Best One”. Our lunch was absolutely silent because we were all too busy going down on the sandwich (things were quite sloppy).
We tried our luck at the Black Pig while visiting the Borough Market. There was a quite long line ahead of us, but we were willing to wait. After approximately 15 minutes we got our sandwich, which all I can say is that it was worth the wait! Don't miss it if you're in the area.

yes, another review for the honey truffle parmesan sandwich. saw it go viral online and had to try it when visiting the borough market. the queue looked long but the service is very efficient and it took little time (helps when everyone is practically ordering the same sandwich haha)

pork (moist), honey truffle mayo (truffle was a little subtle but a nice addition), fennel and apple slaw (im really glad they added apple, i think it was such a good flavor addition), lightly shredded parmesan on ciabetta bread.
all the toppings worked together very well! if anything, i wish the pork had a little more flavor (not sure why i was expecting more of a barbecue pulled pork from the videos i saw), but the toppings tied it together. we added chili for 50p but to be honest, i couldn't taste much.
this sandwich is veryyy hyped up from the reviews and TikTok; i can't say it blew my mind and maybe was a tiny bit underwhelmed just due to all the raving reviews, but it was still delicious and the service was efficient.
In the heart od Borough Market you can find the perfect soft ciabatta filled with pulled pork and flavours you like - you can choose salsa verde or truffle mayo.

Saw this place on someone’s TikTok. Glad I checked it out. Me and my wife shared “The best one” sandwich and both highly enjoyed it. It’s not too heavy and not too light. Perfect balance and great flavor.
These guys are serious about making good sandwich! It’s not just one of the hype menu in the market but also worth to try! Try their juicy meat underneath cheese snow..!yum!!

it's really that good.
🥪there was a smallish queue so we had to wait for a couple of minutes. we went for "the best one" which has a little bit of everything on it 👌
the meat wasn't dry, the slaw was fresh and crunchy, the salsa was spicy, the bread fresh.
we shared as a couple (you get two of the sandwiches shown on the pic - I just wasn't quick enough to capture it 😄). get something else afterwards, you're still at borough market. otherwise one portion for a person is a good meal.

everything is buggy friendly (wheelchair accessible) but it'll be cramped. especially in the summer time. and don't even think it'll be better during the week - there is literally no difference. still masses of people in the whole of borough market.

dogs are allowed at borough market, they need to be on the leash and they should be ok with a big crowd of people. smaller dogs I'd have in a backpack or hold onto them
I think the sandwich was good, but not worth the hype. The sandwich looked good on pictures and videos, but the taste was average nothing special.
The best!!! Awesome Pulled Pork Sandwiches, probably my favourite of Borough Market. Decent portion and really delicious.I loved the harmony of flavours! Perfection. :) Highly recommended.
