Great experience! We got in after booking on the same day and we were very happy because the restaurant was packed! With the street food concept, bear in mind that the portion is small so ask the waiter whether the food is enough for your table. The yogurt bomb is the MUST! I was also very happy with the butter chicken and the fish curry. However, the one thing I would say is that I expected some level of spice. I'm not sure if the restaurant is adapting to more UK clientele but its too much on the "sweet" side for me. Overall the staff and the ambiance is amazing and I'll definitely come back again!

This is the most amazing place for food and and atmosphere. A gorgeous, romantically lit place with great music. The food is literally the best Indian I have ever ate. We came as a party of 7 and all of us couldn’t believe the amazing flavours and choices of food. The cocktails were also so great- lychee martini and rose gin and tonic were amongst our favourites. You will enjoy every minute you spend here!

An extensive menu. Nice and spicy. Food was presented well and good portion sizes. Tasty. Service was friendly and quick. The swing seats are really uncomfortable. Nice for Instagram pics but not for eating through your 3 course lunch.

Yummy food at an affordable price-mowgli has always had a winning menu with their street food. I loved the atmosphere and the decor was also rather lovely and dazzling! the food was delicious too, had about 5-6 dishes between two along with two sides but that was more than enough! besides that, the staff were really helpful and really kind, we got the swing seats and wanted to move so they let us and then gave us an even bigger table! we truly did have a feast. However, the only one point that stoped 5 stars was their service-it took a significant amount of time to take our orders or to get the staff’s attention. but the food did come out almost immediately. the restaurant also gave us some free dishes like the yogurt chaat. they also compensated for delay in bringing our drinks over. and lastly (accidentally) they gave us a couple of extra items in the final bill but they were quick to resolve it and take it off.

Together with my fiancé we love to try out new Indian Restaurants. Sometimes they are amazing sometimes not so much. After watching The Great British Menu we always wanted to try out Mowgli and we both agreed it was one of the best Indian restaurants we both tried. The food was really tasty and really reasonably priced. We're actually thinking of going back tomorrow 🤣

Mowgli may be tailored to a non-Indian palette but it still has some awesome appetizers that make you want more and the mains are still tasty even without the full Indian flavor. Appetizers Chat Bombs - amazing. Must order. Cheese Toast - amazing. Must order. Lamb Chops - amazing. Must order. Lamb was juicy. The whole chop was edible and not too fatty. The potatoes were so good that came along with it. Mains Mowgli Paneer - the star of the show. A bit on the sweeter side. Butter Chicken - this was ok. It needed more flavor but I guess it’s made for the non-Indian palate. Still, it was way too bland in my opinion. You can add flavor without adding spice. Roti - No naan here but you won’t miss the it because this roti is amazing Drinks Only got a bottle of wine. They have a large drink menu with mocktails as well. Atmosphere & Service The vibes were cool. It was very lit up with string lighting and plants everywhere. The food came in silver tins which was a nice authentic touch. The server was nice and straight up. He told us the mains aren’t as flavorful cause he saw we were Indian and would expect more spice/flavor. He was spot on with that. They can give peppers and chiles to help out but it’s really best if they can alter the spice level in their dishes. They were busy and we didn’t have a reservation but they found a table to accommodate 3 of us.

Food was very delicious. We took fries, lamb chops, angry bird, rice and some curry. We found the real taste of Indian food here. Service was amazing as well. Thanks to Dhrubo for his superb service. Vegan options are also available here.

Had a great dinner here with some friends while in London. We all decided to share all the meals if it was a fantastic way to experience this food. I tried the old fashioned and the chi rum sling cocktails and they were such a brilliant pairing with the food. Highly recommend the old fashioned. The staff were also great super friendly and considering how busy it was the service was excellent. Shout to Roger who was super nice and friendly. This is the second visit to a Mowgli (the other was Glasgow) and both times have been warm and friendly, a fantastic reliable place to visit where ever you find one. 🧡

Visited this restaurant this evening for a evening meal. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. In particular the girl who served us Yatisha and manager AK. Food was tasty, flavoursome and hot. Will be visiting again. Thank you Mowgli

Had a great time at Mowgli ! We were a table of 4 adults and shared everything. First we ordered the gunpowder chicken and tamarind fries. Then we got the House Lamb Curry, mother butter chicken, goan fish curry and tangled greens. Rice as well! Finally we got the prawn curry, sticky chicken and slaw. You really can’t go wrong everything was amazing ! My favorites were the mother butter chicken and the goan fish curry. Also amazing cocktails, I highly recommend the mowgli gin and tonic! Also you need to finish the night with a mango lassi!

It’s ok, I guess this is the best way to describe. Nothing amazing or breathtaking, everything is fine. The decoration is very pretty and the service is ok. I normally make very detailed reviews but this place did not leave any impact on me, neither positive nor negative. The only thing I would criticise is that there is no indication of the spicy mess of the food on the menu, so good luck with that!

Wow! We had seen everything on line and had struggled to choose our lunch but in fact it was even harder when we got there. We kept looking at the other diners meals and could have easily picked any of them. Our server was very helpful and agreed with our final choice of a tiffin box each. When it arrived although we had similar ingredients ie lamb, chicken, vegetarian, rice, they were each different. The flavours were amazing, so fragrant and flavoursome. We didn’t leave a single morsel and felt wonderfully full! Our server was quite correct in her advice - although it does mean we have to return and work our way through the menu! The price was very reasonable and the portions good. The price of the menu was the same in London as it was in every other location. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

We booked a late night reservation around 9:15PM, which we know is closer to their closing time. They got us in quickly and the overall atmosphere is just to die for. We were lucky enough to get the swing seats! The food was amazing as well as the cocktails. We definitely felt as if our server was new because it did take around 15-20 minutes before we received our drinks. Then we ended up having multiple different people check on our order status and bring us the bill. Despite that it was still a good experience

We got drenched going there however didn't even notice once we entered an oasis of happy people with an aroma to tempt anyone to eat. Service was great even at 9pm. The swing seats are a great twist for some tables. All the food was delicious, the roti were soft and buttery, the chat bombs were exquisite. We had an office worker tiffin box plus a house keema and picnic curry potatoes between 2 and it was the perfect amount. I can't wait to go back and the cocktails were the perfect accompaniment.

Absolutely delicious food with great service in a beautiful setting. The cocktails were a little light (alcohol content) but tasty. We'll definitely return, and I recommend this place. They also provided complimentary cake and a birthday song , It was lovely. Thanks to the fabulous team.

Well I'd show you the food but it was so nice it didn't last long. Tapas style menu where they recommend you choose 3 items each that the 2 of us shared. Great tasting food but served the smallest amount of curry I've ever seen but then, it's not a curry house! But still enough to fill you up. Friendly and helpful staff but I wouldn't recommend the swing seats. I was constantly having to slide myself back on the seat and was a little too low for the table. If you want a traditional curry house style setting with a large selection of curries, naans, rice etc, then this isn't for you. But still recommend.
