Seeing how flamboyantly dramatic and overly theatrical some of the recent negative comments were, I thought it might be appropriate to share my positive experience at SideChick yesterday.
I had the chef’s lunch special which came presented as a generous helping of chicken thigh, salad and potatoes
Really nice sides and friendly service. We tried the peri peri chicken. It was tender and came boneless, but the flavour was not particularly strong which was a let down.

Everything we had was delicious - especially the chimichurri chicken. Staff were lovely. A bit pricey but thought it’s worth the price - would definitely come for the lunch menu deal!
Every dish we ordered was delicious and full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the interiors are spot on. Would highly recommend!
Tasty food, peri Chicken was the best flavour. Service was a bit slow, 40mins to receive food but they were busy.

Absolutely loved having dinner here - friendly staff, delicious chicken mains, lots of seasonal veggie side dishes and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Great selection of cocktails, and the homemade lemonade (non-alcoholic) was particularly good. Especially recommend the Zatar chicken

Absolutely delicious food, think of it as an upscale Nandos with table service. Generous portions and a great range of sides/veggies. Service was slow, we had to wait a while for our food but staff comped our drinks so it seems this isn't typical. Would definitely return.
Juicyness of the chicken was on point. Compliments to the chef. Was a tad confused at the lunch deal only being an off-menu chicken, jerk chicken - which wasn't very true to a jerk chicken recipe, and was a bit lightly seasoned so required you to buy extra sauce which kinda eliminated any lunch deal
4 of us had a spectacular lunch today at Sidechick . A warm welcome from the staff set the scene. The menu is different, a great selection of flatbreads topped with the most delicious ingredients from the Mediterranean. These keep you going before perfectly grilled (seasoned to taste ), chicken
