Was a little skeptical before going here seeing a low rating (below 4) and complaints from some customers. I can assure you they are all misleading. Had a wonderful time at dinner here. Seating and interiors are very good. The ambience is very comfortable. You can go here for food and chit chat. I
We came for a friend's birthday lunch on Saturday and there was 9 of us. I was told there was a bit of trouble booking as the restaurant was being inflexible but it eventually got sorted. We did the bottomless thali with unlimited refills as well as unlimited chai or mango lassi for £32.50 each. It
Very tasty and high quality Indian food! Would highly recommend trying their Thali, although you can’t really go wrong with trying any of their other dishes. Went with a table of 5 so we were able to try quite a few dishes and none of them disappointed. Service was very attentive, and the manager Jo
Naan bread is tasty but fried is so so. Nice environment and good service. Not sure if it’s authentic, but its enough for non native people to enjoy the food.
Can't fault this restaurant at all! 💯 RECOMMENDED TRYING HERE! I came with my family as my mother is a big fan of Dipna and all of us were very happy with the food 😋. Let me just say this... THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS I'VE EATEN 💯! Absolutely full of flavour in every bite, succulent and cooked very wel
This is a real gem of a restaurant in one of the busier parts of London. It seems to be still a little bit undiscovered by local foodies and the tourist that throng the area. Went here on a whim for brunch/lunch and was really amazed by the entire dining experience. The food was very tasty and flavo
Very elegant interior with a lovely view of Thames River. Staff were attentive and friendly too. I ordered a brunch menu with mango lassi and it was delicious. My partner's prawn curry was okay and a bit small portion. We definitely want to try other dishes next time.
The service was really good, great ambience and nice setting in Somerset House. Menu simple but extensive with quite a few veggie options. Poppadoms were excellent and so was the mango dip. Had the chilli paneer (nice flavours but served a bit cold), veggie samosas, nice but fairly bland, onion bhaj
I have visited this place with a business partner for a lunch. The place got chosen as one 50 top London restaurant as per Condé Nast. Well, the place although hard to find with Google maps directions, did not disappoint once we ge finally got there. We were warmly welcome by the host who acknowled
My husband surprised me to brunch at Dipna Anand at Somerset House. It was absolutely amazing, from the chilled vibes to the delicious food. My husband went for the Desi English Breakfast but I got carried away and ordered more than one dish. The cocktails were lush and had to stop as it was only
Lovely food, although nothing out of the ordinary. Great service and beautiful setting, although sadly not much atmosphere as the restaurant was virtually empty. Lovely touch presenting us with a dessert with 'Happy Anniversary' on as I had told them it was our wedding anniversary when I booked.
What a great dining experience at the iconic Somerset House! Visited this newly opened restaurant by Chef Dipna Anand and left satisfied after trying some genuine flavours that reminded me of home. Specially the Gajjar halwa dessert in the end. We started with some starters like chilli paneer, and i
Good food but I expected something a little more authentic - this is upscale Indian but quite Anglicised. Venue is lovely and meal was good value but I just expected a bit more flavour-wise.
Elegant Indisn dining at Somerset House. Very nice kombucha - perfect for dry January!
Really enjoyed dinner here! As the other comments say this definitely deserves more then 3.9 stars. High quality Indian food and very reasonable prices for a great location.
Food was lovely and a really beautiful venue with high ceilings. Unfortunately when the bar closes you can't get any hot drinks which was a little annoying but generally a great place
Went to Somerset House for dinner and it was amazing. The waitress Neha’s service was impeccable regardless of how busy she was attended to all the customers. The food was outstanding and excellent value for money. It is a must go ⭐️
