Who new vegan food could be so good? Having grown up in the San Francisco area, I was sure I had seen the best vegan restaurants had to offer, but those I've visited before don't come close to the gorgeously plated dishes served at Mallow. Great, bold flavors. Excellent options. Very friendly team. Our only wish is that there was an easier way to see photos of the dishes listed on the menu because some are hard to imagine (a good thing, but nice to pair with photos!).

One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in London. Literally never had a bad meal here, everything is incredible. This time we decided to go for a taster style experience, ordered each of the 6 small plates and the wine taster, and everything was incredible. Oh and they overheard that it was my birthday so they surprised me with a cute birthday card and chocolates too! Cannot recommend enough but do book ahead as it is super popular!

Great plant based restaurant in Borough Market. Had a mix of the lunch menu and brunch. Food was lovely, and very nice interior decor. Jambalaya was quite good. Loved the pancakes although they were a lot less sweet than expected, definitely needed the vanilla sauce that came with it. Great for vegans, vegetarians and people looking to try something different, reduce their meat and fish intake :) Will come back to sample the dinner menu :)

Absolutely delicious plant based dishes! We ordered nearly all the starters to share between 2 and we were stuffed. Even the sourdough bread was incredible! innovative dishes with unique flavour pairings- a real delight. Would highly recommend to anyone not vegan to try this place too. Will definitely be back to try their main dishes. BONUS: they are dog friendly!!

We had a lovely meal at Mallow. Inventive, interesting and totally delicious vegan food. You could happily take a carnivore here and I bet they wouldn't miss meat one bit. We loved being able to order anything from the menu rather than searching for the VG symbol. Beautiful space, overlooking Southwark cathedral. Service was a little slow, but we were happy making an afternoon of it.

Lovely food, albeit very pricey. Deducted one star because it is a bit steep considering we ordered 5-6 small bites and 1 main with no desserts and it ended up costing around £90. I’m not vegan (my husband is) but I loved the dishes and so did my kids. Just wish I wasn’t still hungry when we left!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely brilliant. The top-notch team of staff was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience truly exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming ambiance. The attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant, from the decor to the presentation of the dishes, showcased their dedication to providing a memorable experience. I highly recommend trying their pulled mushroom biryani, as it was nothing short of outstanding. Overall, this restaurant is a gem, and I can't wait to return. Kudos to the entire team for their passion, skill, and commitment to delivering excellence. If you're looking for a place that offers brilliant food and an impeccable team, look no further! Thanks to the team for the birthday sorbets 😊

I visited mallow for Sunday brunch with a couple of my girlfriends. We absolutely loved everything about our visit . The taste of the food was incredible, the presentation had the wow factor, the service was perfect - neither intrusive nor absent - exactly the right level. The cocktails were perfect, and the wine waitress was also fabulous. Everyone made us feel so welcome and we weren't rushed through our meal, and managed to have a fantastic catchup as well as meal. I am gluten free as well as vegan and the allergens menu was clearly marked. The thali in particular was delicious, especially the dal. The ambience was lovely as well - loved the decor of the restaurant. The toilets were also well designed and clean. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a perfect afternoon!

My girlfriend & both work in restaurants. This usually means that we notice e v e r y t h i n g that's wrong. However, I have to say that Mallow was brilliant. The service was nothing short of excellent. For each of our 3 courses our napkins & cutlery were replaced, our water was topped up when needed. Our waiter (who was on her first week and did very well) recommend an orange pinot which went well with our meal. The food was well spaced out yet still came in a timely manner. The food was fully vegetarian, but it used this as a strength to create dishes that were creative, exciting, and had a real depth of flavour. Unfortunately, I felt grapefruit overpowered the beetroot on one of the small plates. The glassware was elegant, everything was clean, the bathrooms were tidy and aesop soap was used in the washroom. The music suited the vibe, and it was not too loud. The service is general was precise & efficient but still relaxed. An absolute steal for the price! Basically, all of the small details were absolutely on point and contributed to a great night. Thank you for giving us a nice table for my girlfriend's birthday, and for the chocolates at the end. It was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely cracking breakfast/brunch here! So so tasty, fluffy pancakes & really enjoyed that there was fruit between the layers too so there was always lots of topping to be had. You’d never know it was vegan at all! Staff were also really lovely, very attentive and genuinely chatty. Greatly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again. Interior layout is also nice (we were seated downstairs) as even when all tables were full it didn’t feel too cramped/loud.
