We've been here twice and both occasions the service differed massively.
First time a Friday evening. The dining room was quiet but the deliveroos were going nuts so there was a longer wait the usual to be served. We found out it was the manager who served us and I was quiet disappointed that he wasnt that friendly it seemed quiet forced. But benefit of the doubt as usually Franco's are always perfect.
Second visit was back to normal, pizzas came out flying, and as always the quality you'd expect.
Great authentic pizza at a good price. Can’t really beat it for reasonably priced meal in. Blackheath. Pizza is very good quality and nice range of toppings
Visited this branch on Saturday with my friends and just wanted to take the time to say that our experience was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Food very delicious too and just want to say thank you to Elsa for dealing with our allergies with caution.

One of my favourite places to come eat. The pizzas are amazing and the staff outstanding. The managers Luciano and Elsa are extremely friendly and helpful. My waiter, Pedro, was also amazing and really took the time to talk to us and make us feel welcome. Overall, amazing experience and per usual, I will be coming back soon!!
A few small plates of food with a glass of vino were enjoyed. However, the wave of crash helmets entering the restaurant was overwhelming as we sat near the entrance. The ambience was that of a fast food restaurant and not of a village establishment. I had to remind the waitress of an item that was missed due to the demand of the takeaways. Those who were collecting on motorbikes had to be reminded to wait outside, as diners were left to wait their turn. It's definitely something the management needs to address.
Great experience. Service was attentive and friendly. They have childrens menu for 8£, which worked well for us as it is including drink and scoop of ice cream.
GF pizza base is available for extra 2.35£ and it’s lovely! One of the best GF I have ever had!
Great restaurant, nicely situated, comfortable and pleasant seating arrangements inside. Beautifully lit on a summer evening! We were really well taken care of by the whole team but especially John. The pizzas are great, very tasty: I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the mint-infused tomatoes and halloumi shavings on mine! Prices are pretty reasonable as well.
Franco Manca Blackheath is a very nice place for a family meal. My son gives me a little break while solving puzzles and colouring in on kids menu before food arrives. We are often served by John and would like to thank him for an excellent service and the chefs for those delicious pizzas! 🍕
My 1st sourdough pizza, all the things are fresh and yummy. Waitress are nice. And dessert are nice too.

I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone in search of an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you step through the door, you'll be greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. The pizzas are delicious and the atmosphere is great. The manager, Luciano, truly made our experience exceptional. From his helpful nature to the incredible food and service, everything about this place was simply amazing. Luciano's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu ensured that I had the most delicious pizza. Will definitely come back.

Great spot outside where you can watch the world go buy and enjoy a great pizza. Quick, no nonsense and nice variety on the menu in terms of flavours.
If you want pizza definitely head here rather than pizza express next door!

Thanks John, we had really great service and a lovely meal at Franco Manca Blackheath. My partner was asking for 2 base toppings and John handled the situation really well, so she was happy. The service was friendly, warm, attentive and fast - an excellent experience always at Blackheath.
My mum, brother and I were well taken care of. The waiter was friendly and knowledgable of the menu. My brother and I loved a seasonal, special pizza ( potato, blue cheese and pesto), and asked if it was available as it was my birthday. The chefs were so kind to make them especially for this occasion, which made my day. The pizzas came hot! - and were even better than I remember, so delicious.

We also had the burrata, grilled artichoke and san marzano tomato starter (highly recommend). Homemade lemonade and caramel pecan cheesecake.
The setting is clean, wholesome and welcoming. What makes Blackheath, Franca Manca my favourite location is the quality of care that goes into the food and service.
The team are wondeful, always a pleasure stepping into this space.

We are regulars my now 5 year old shakes all the staff hands , asks for his usual table and they know his order (and mine )
We eat have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
